As a Palestinian, our culture makes marriage very difficult. Back in Ramadan, I proposed to a good woman, we both liked each other, families got along and everything. Then a month later her father called everything off because he wanted to have a wedding with music and I wasn't going to do that. He ruined everything because he wanted a haram wedding. Hes a good guy, but he allowed his desires to ruin what could have been a good marriage. Two months later and I just think as to why my culture is like this? Just baffles me tbh, but Allah is the best of planners!

I heard drums in celebratory type events like Eid and weddings you can use, so maybe u could’ve proposed drums only and Allah swt knows best
@mohammedkhattab60036 ай бұрын
@abdullaal-obaidi833 I believe you're talking about the duff. The duff can be used for celebrating events such as weddings and eid, but only by women. I did extensive research into this alternative and others, because I wanted to make it work, but her father wasn't interested in giving any of this a chance. He said, "I am not going to waiver on this." And said it wasn't going to work out. I didn't even really care about my feelings tbh, I just didn't want her to feel saddened or even worse for her father to accept someone else who isn't practicing as best they could be. A father should have his daughter's best interest in mind when selecting a potential for her, but some father's will reject men who check the necessary boxes islamically speaking, for cultural reasons, which is honestly such a shame.
@IBRAHIMDeenUP6 ай бұрын
You don’t want a father in law like that anyway. Next he is telling you to take out a line of credit and a mortgage to support his daughter. Allah is protecting you from a future of cultural Islam ahki
@keepsmiling1986 ай бұрын
A father’s opinion is important but: is he the one marrying you in the end or his daughter? There has to be a balance. Is it even a valid reason to reject you because of this? Is it in accordance with the teachings of Islam? Maybe talk to a sheikh about this if you haven’t already. May Allah make it easy for you 🤲🏼

Since 2020, i prayed to Allah for this girl to be my wife. The moment i saw her, my heart was taken. I kept praying as my love kept growing, and my soul kept following her whenever i saw her in university. Last year, i had a dream of seeing her, and in that dream, i heard, " she will be your wife." I made istkhara, and i kept having dreams and started seeing my family are supportive of marrying this girl. Alhamdulilah, now we are married and happy than ever. If you’re able to get married young, it’s such a blessing, especially as a man. I’m guessing you’re not 100% established, so a lady wanting to marry you means she actually desires you for you. At 31, I feel I’ve passed the point where a lady would want me for me. At this age marriage is about how many boxes you tick: finance, stability etc like I’m a product being picked off a shelf. May Allah bless your marriage habibi
@thelemurofmadagascar91836 ай бұрын
Brother, don't feel so pessimistic about yourself. 31 is still pretty young for a man, and age generally matters less to women. If anything, a lot of women prefer older mature men. As for your money, please don't feel objectified just because a woman might like your money. As long as it's not the only reason she's marrying you, there's nothing wrong with it. It's no different than a man wanting his wife to be beautiful. As long as it's not the main purpose of the marriage, it's a perfectly okay thing to value.
@marytheraspberry31456 ай бұрын
I'm sure there are women your same age looking for a pious husband. I don't believe it's possible for all of them to only want you for your money.
@thomasbuxton26486 ай бұрын
@@marytheraspberry3145they probably are but I’ve been rejected by every one of them. The money thing is just an extra thing playing on my mind, but it doesn’t really matter when I get rejected from the outset anyway. I have never been good enough to even be considered for marriage. I am screened out from the very beginning. Also piety doesn’t matter to most women (and men, I’m not hating them for it) if you’re not attractive to them in the first place. As a 5’2 balding man, it’s not a surprise I’m not even somewhat attractive to them. So me being a pious practising man (not that I claim to be, but Alhamdulillah I do the basics and more) makes no difference

As a sister, I just want to say there are amazing Muslim women out there in their 30s (life happens differently for everyone) who are looking for good Muslim man. No checkbox to tick specifically other than truly their character and commitment to their deen and dunya (regards to family, relations, responsibilities …). May Allah make it easy for you.
@TheCastedone6 ай бұрын
You are stating facts bro. It's not the same as being married young. In the 30s women are looking for more stability and that is ok. Accept women for who they are. Enforce boundaries and grow to love each other. Women in their late 20s early 30s are simply ready to settle down and have children.

Im gonna give you the honest truth: Women are easily icked out by men based on how they act socially. Your freinds had experience with women, and have learned how to seduce and make them interested, so of course its easier for them to get potential spouses to like them. You however never did haram, but that means you don't know how to act romantically with women, and thus can easily give them the ick. It is sad because the burden of good romantic social skills is on the man, as he has to lead, but feel free to ask me any questions as I got the real answers instead of these other empty answers.

In Bangladesh, culture aside, people actually prioritize wealth first and then good character. I wanted to get married at 21 (now 26) but since her mother had suffered a lot because of her husband could not provide for them; therefore, she was looking for a person for her daughter who would have generous amount of wealth (from his dad's side) to at least secure a good position and not place her daughter's life in jeopardy. I understand that (money is actually essential in life, without it, you actually feel miserable.) but at that time, it made me feel confused about life (was it my fault that my father did not have wealth left for me? If I have to build my wealth, it will certainly take time "finishing bachelor's and then job or business, etc."). But, Allah is the greatest of planners, and hope is all I have right now. In the end, even if I don't get the ending I am looking for, I wish my younger brothers and sisters, May Allah find you a loving spouse early in life! and as for you Rami, you are an excellent person for the youth right now. I wish you all the best for your family. May Allah keep your family happy and flourishing!

If a Muslim dies before marriage and enters Paradise, khalas, you've got a harem! One improvement that could help your videos, insyhAllah, is to provide the references to Quran and Sunnah. Barakallhu feek!

May Allah bless me with a spouse who has deen and good akhlaaq. May Allah bless me with righteous spouse and righteous family. May I have peaceful and loving marriage with my spouse. May my future spouse respects me a lot and may I respect him a lot as well. May we both become each other’s best friend. May my husband makes our relationship no.1 priority in his life just as i make it mine. May I be married to a soft man who gives me reassurance and emotional safety. May a gentle and loving man be written in my Naseeb. May Allah beautify my akhlaaq more and more and grant me a high valued man who has a pure tongue and pure heart. May Allah bless me with a man who has fear of Allah the most.

@@Csquared14if he has or hasnt, that’s none of your business. Don’t talk about sins. You deal with it by doing what Allah has told you to do. Don’t watch porn, lower your gaze, don’t mindlessly scroll and look at women. Pray pray pray pray and pray. Physical touch isn’t all there is to life.

Give us some tips on what type of question to ask in the engagement period.
@fiomelandri70156 ай бұрын
4 type person that u can married, it's based from hadist prophets 1. Righteousness (shalih/shalihah)/understanding of deen/islam 2. Wealthy 3. Beauty 4. Noble/descendant/ in arabic its called nasab. Example : Prince/princess/son of sultan/president/celebrity. Prophet said choose number 1 u will be lucky. Lucky what? Luck in this worldly land here after, u and ur partner going together, company,remind, walking to path of allah. And when u look at it number 2-4 only worldly life meaning its temporary its didnt permanent. Example: beauty can faded with aging, wealthy can bankrupt anytime,noble line only afew percent in this word who have that status and if u marry a noble partner then u be ready from normal life to noble life like ethic etc. Ask what important in married along the deen. Example question for him/her. what u do when weekend? See the answer, if he/she answers like go to bar,casino etc. well then u know in the future if u married with someone like this. If ur partner answer im came lecturer in masjid/ read book at home/read some islamic book. Then u know what the characteristics. How often ur shalat(pray)? He/she said 3/4 times a day, ask him/her would u mind if i advice/remind/invite u to the straight path? Ask the mahr (dowry), see what her want. Mahr its not burden the huband but at the same time not humiliate the wife ti be lowly. Ask what happen if thereis argument/clash each other how to solve it? Look what Alquran and hadist said There is no such thing called love in marriage,love only in marvel/Hollywood/disney love given by allah to the husband and wife if they walking to path of allah, seeing jannah together etc.

We all know you intentionally brought the cat in the room before you started recording 😜. But yk…on a serious note divorce is one of my biggest fears. I will say that from what I’ve seen and also learned….is that one shouldn’t ignore their instincts. Of course one can be wrong at times….but often if it doesn’t feel right then it isn’t.

And after all these things,we have to raise righteous children. The most difficult task of recent times. But unfortunately we adults are so busy in other things,like competing,hating and showing unnecessary tantrums that we are hardly considering the matter of children. May Allah help us all. May all make it easy for us and keep us on right track.

Amazing video allahumabarik! Very detailed and well sequenced. May Allah bless you, your spouse and your family, increase you in provision and protect you from evil eye ya Akhi!❤ I am a professional video editor who mainly focuses on the Islamic niche and the topic of marriage was in my mind for a while to create a video about and subhanallah, I found this video and there are lots of advice and clarification of certain stereotypes that are present in our society whether western or eastern that I think you answered. So, may I have the permission to remake this video for Dawah purposes on my channel? Nonetheless, absolutely refreshing video! As someone who is still not married and from the youth, it was helpful. May Allah bless you!
