Pure talent Imo one of the best songs written in the 80s. Mental health is real. Love heals.

Damn, just look at Greg... Multitasking with the synth, vocoder and soprano sax. Phenomenal musician, I can truly understand why he was so devastated about how he was accused of plagiarism. One of my biggest musical heroes, rest in peace.

@@davidcastellanos881The big one: Down Under. Actually just heard it tonight with Colin Hay playing with Ringo Starr. But this song gave me shivers. Also played in Chicago.

I thought that was weird. This song has a reflective melancholic, even haunting tone to it, so the vigorous clapping and cheering is quite jarring.

Colin Hay's haunting voice and guitar work. Greg Ham's (RIP) Soprano Sax and Roland Juno 60 with Vocoder........that's why it still sounds good today!

In 1983 I moved from my hometown Milwaukee to New York City. The first years out in NYC were really hard, and the city was a lot more brutal than it is now. This song was constantly on the radio. I can't hear it without thinking of those years. "Time to walk the streets, smell the desperation."

A lot of Australian music never made it to Ireland in the 70's/80's and even the 1990's we all thought Men at Work were a 1 hit wonder, around 1991 a friend of a friend returned from Australia and give me a cassette tape of Men at Work and I couldn't believe the quality of the music I was listening to they are a top band. Heard Midnight Oil for the first time in 1993 went to the music store to buy some of there albums and was told it had been discontinued in Ireland. Was able to pick up albums from both when on holiday.

I only remembered this song and how great it was when I decided to rewatch Scrubs. I think it's a beatiful one size fits all when it comes to mental illness. It's hard, and it doesn't get easier. I don't think the answers exist, but I think it's worth trying to find them.
