When I was at uni, the women's netball team wanted some practice. Myself and my mates were friends with some of the girls and we said we'd play them. We had never played netball before, but we played football, cricket, rugby and basketball. It was a bloodbath. The girls didn't stand a chance. Granted, they were more skillful with the ball, but they couldn't score as the men stood over them and easily blocked the ball. We could pass further and we ran faster. After, I think the girls learned a lot about biology. We were all friends and celebrated together after!

Almost the exact same, though it was more a challenge from our netball playing girlfriends. We just got the ball and kept it out of reach.

If those girls were serious about their sport they’d make that a recurring thing… if you practice against a team you have no chance of beating then when you go back to competing on a fair level then it feels like a breeze… growing up we’d be a small rugby school so not many players would show up at pre season training especially younger age groups… I was U14 playing and training against the first team (U19A) of course they’d go easy on us but not really boys will be boys so they didn’t miss an opportunity to put us back in place. So the few youngsters like me who didn’t miss a practice would be the ones dominating during the season because when you had to tackle someone twice your size and 5 years older then tackling someone your level felt like a breeze. As we grew older more of us showed up and the two years I played U19 as a junior and then as a senior we dominated our league and I attribute it a lot to that. We also made sure to give a tough time to the youngsters when we became seniors same as it was done to us because we knew how valuable it is… It just takes the fear away from you, we went on to win our derby against a team that was two leagues above us with provincial players left and right… it was a hard fought game but we pulled through and came back scored a last minute try… I was a junior having to play fly half starting for the first team for the first time because our senior vice captain was sick… I was told on the Thursday and had to play on the Saturday in front of the entire school. Talk about pressure, yet once I entered that field my mind went straight back to those days where I had to take on the big boys and make it work somehow… I just switched on instantly, knew I had a job to do and just did it almost to perfection… I got man of the match and never realised how good I was doing until the final whistle because I was just in the zone and nothing mattered but the task at hand. So by all means ladies if you have the opportunity to get tough opposition by playing the opposite sex then do it… you’ll get smashed but that’s how you get better and better…

At my high-school a boy sued the school district to be allowed to play volleyball based on the argument that girls could join the football team, and since our school district didn't have a men's volleyball division they ended up letting him play. Our volleyball team went undefeated three years straight.
@kitkat64422 жыл бұрын
That's actually hilarious. It's fair too. If we allow women to join male sports than we should let men join women's sports. If they don't like it, make a mens volleyball team or make arrangement to have him join a nearby one. Some schools have sent their students to join other schools teams because they don't provide the sport. There are plenty of solutions and he found the most amusing one to me 🤣🤣

Went for a date with a feminist one time (didn't know she was one). We had a good time over dinner and I can't remember how we came to have a discussion about equality and she got upset when I said I am all for equality if women can do the same job as well as men without favours or indulgence. Discussion got a little too heated for my comfort as she she started to talk very loudly while gesticulating with her hands. I asked for the bill and promptly calculated her share of the meal. The horror on her face was funny af. She then started with the garbage I wasn't a gentleman, how it is tradition for men to pay for meals, blah blah blah. I do not understand why do u argue for those things. Men and women have same rights for living, job opportunities etc. However nature made us differently. Women give birth and take care the children with love and caring and man is the protector of the family since stone ages. Thats why men developed more strenth. (like most mammals) However the weakness of a man is that is more aggressive because of the testosterone, Which means that he has to control his impetuosities that sometimes is dangerous for other women, children even to other men. As we women should control our momentum during period times and don't act like crazy. Its very difficult to become vitruous at all levels. Aristotle's vitrues explain everything.
