Eh, usually when a guy has to say "I'm doing this for both of us", he's saying it because you have noticed something is considerably wrong and are bringing it up. Now, if you can follow that up with some specific details as to how you will both benefit and what the specific plan is. Specific specific. Then okay, maybe that can go somewhere. Also, women are even more success focused than dudes. So the testosterone thing doesn't check out. A lot of this misgiving comes from not really understanding what success looks like. What it is comprised of. It doesn't mean six figures or being an obedient little slave to some corporate master. It means something totally different. Something much deeper.

@@sarrehm what were the practical applications
@sarrehm Жыл бұрын
@@BrooklynBaby100 there are so many I probably can’t list all but you can learn them if you watch many of these videos- I used to listen to them while I’m washing my face, in the kitchen, etc just while I’m doing other things and that’s when I started to notice myself doing the things he advises. One practical example is getting the men in your life to give more to you, to listen more to you, to be more kind and loving, and just to have a better relationship with them, by saying words and doing specific actions that are like a “reward” to a man. For example, saying “that’s a good idea” or giving him a smile, saying thank you when he does something good and appreciating it, making him feel like he made a difference - all of these things will encourage him to be kinder and nicer to you and more willing to give you what you want because he will want that appreciation again and again. So it becomes a cycle : he does something good, you appreciate, and then he will either do something similar next time in order to get the appreciation, or you can ask him to do something for you and he will do it in order to get the response/appreciation/“reward”. One of the things that made a big difference for me was that I thought that I was showing appreciation before, but I didn’t realize that I wasn’t actually smiling while showing appreciation. Just giving the person a smile makes a HUGE difference I know it seems like common sense or something so simple but when I consciously thought about it and strategically used my smile it made the world of a difference :P Also another big one for me was I noticed that I don’t ask my brothers for anything- I’m a self sufficient person and I don’t rely on family members to help me with anything.. but after watching these videos I learned that we are supposed to ask men to do something for us, and most likely he will do it, because men have an internal / biological system that makes them want to do something for women and this increases their male hormones. This was another simple thing - sounds like common sense to ask for something, but personally I would’ve never been the type of person to ask my brothers to do anything for me in the past.. my brother was making chicken wraps one day and I texted him and asked him if he can bring one to my room for me because I’m not feeling well. I only did this because I wanted to test out what I learned from the videos. I really didn’t think it would work- I was shockeddd when he actually came to my room with a plate of chicken wrap! Basically men WANT us women to ask them to do things for us, because they want to feel like they made a difference. We have to appreciate and they will continue to do things that we ASK them to do and even things that we don’t ask for just so they can get the appreciation and reward! It increases their male hormones and it’s actually good for womens hormones too as our hormones normalize when we feel cared for and taken care of. So overall it leads to healthier and happier relationships. Also a big theme that Dr. John Gray emphasizes is for us women to be more loving and kind- to open our hearts and act with love, to put our frustrations, negative emotions etc. aside. ALSO a very important practical application is that you must be very specific with your request for it to work - as I mentioned in the chicken wrap example I asked for something super specific and that’s why it worked. I hope this was helpful and not too long hahaha

Whoa @sarrehman that was an awesome ‘short’ reply and clarified a lot! When he talks he covers soooo many things they swim around in my head but what you wrote made it easy to go “Oh I can do that! “ Thanks a heap.

Dude is condescending toward women. Patronizing. It's really sad how many people buy this. I know I did when I was a teenager. The fact is that men and women are ultimately the same. We need respect and love and understanding. Dudes just need to think we're so different so then they can tell themselves their superior. Because if we're the same? Well there's nothing worse you can be than like a woman. Lol.
