I wouldn't say it makes it "better" cause each version has its own charm imo, but I definitely think it gives it much more feeling, since you can hear the pick attack, the slides, etc. You get more details from the player compared to a synthesized key sound, pretty much.

I was in the mall yesterday, in a city in Romania and I heard this masterpiece... then it felt like floating gazing air surrounding me... damn! This song expresses my state of mind so well that I feel like a nebula after planet explosion haha, after all we are all stardust with magic inside. One of the best songs I ever heard that 'flowed my boat' as they say. Gread job guys, keep it up, I will share this on Facebook, if you have more likes than expected I will come back to let you know.
