Dude yeah true, although I wouldn’t put it past them to have a deeper meaning forsure. Some of their songs are actually pretty impressive lyrically. My take on this one is it’s about Heaven. Talks about 144,000 who made it to midnight and are marveling at an ugly world from home. They know they’re right and awake forever, happy forever. Angels beside them. Who’ll dare put up a fight? Revelation 7:4 mentions 144,000 children of Israel in Heaven. And to me the lyrics invoke some heavenly vibes so, could be wrong but idk, some connections forsure imo Either way another awesome track by this band, love it

Oh Dove and Tides seem to share a thematic and numeric connection. "316" being a reference to the Dove/Holy Spirit in both its male and female aspects. Dragos being the "Dove" in Oh Dove, and Emma assuming the role here in Tides (see her lapel pin). The lyrics of Oh Dove seem to be alluding to Dragos' motorcycle accident that occurred last year shortly before the release of the Untourable Album. The original non-video version of the song clocks in at 3 minutes 16 seconds. As stated before, an interesting number indeed, perhaps related to Matthew 3:16? (note the "Dove" reference): "As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. Suddenly the heavens were opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a DOVE and resting on Him" The Two Doves motif signifying higher love, peace, eternal life, and the supreme union of Hieros Gamos, also seems to be at work here. Pretty brilliant, if all of this was done intentionally, and one heck of a coincidence, if it wasn't. All in all, quite impressive really. High-level allegorical storytelling at its finest! :)
