I’m pregnant with my first child, and as she wiggles and kicks me in my tummy, I think about how I will soon be giving my entire life to my baby. It’s an exciting moment but it feels just like this album. Every time I play it it’s so bittersweet that when my baby is all grown up I’ll get flashbacks to me listening this album on repeat in 2021.

When I listen to this I'm kind of happy and sad at the same time. Melancholic at it's best. This album feels like my past teenage years where I couldn't sleep, sat by my open window all night, secretly smoking cigarettes so my parents wouldn't know and looking at the stars only in my underwear some oversized a hoodie a random boy borrowed me and my cozy socks. I felt alone and was graving someone to share this moment with but in the end I was happy to have this moment all by myself because I knew no-one could ever experience this moment as I did. And that also made me happy and sad at the same time.

This came out when I first started college. This album was exactly how I felt about starting adulthood. A foggy reminiscence to the past, a tired yet upbeat feeling. The feeling of seeing the world as it actually is at the moment and gratefully accepting you as you are all in truth. This album will forever be a blanket that shys away my newfound adult responsibilities for at least 30 mins 💗

I am currently undergoing my second cast on my left foot so far in 2023, thinking with my family about the possibility of ankle surgery in the future. I'm angry, tired. At the same time, I am getting rid of the vague hope of love and a future together that I felt for a friend that I really loved very much. University is not being so pleasant, it is a constant feeling of loneliness that only gets worse with each semester I spend in college. Right now is not my best stage. Finding this band, with their music, relieves me a little. It feels nostalgic, happy, optimistic and that makes me feel good. Really thank you.

The album cover strangely captures the overall vibe of this album perfectly. Thank you for saving 2021 MIT! All up from here with these vibes.

I travelled with these songs in Canada last December and damn the atmosphere (especially in downtown Vancouver) just hit bullseye.

I just wish it was longer. The record itself is beautiful as always. Lacks some of the more epic moments on Oncle Jazz, like the guitar outro to "something in water" but its still lovely. 👌

Agreed. There’s no real uptempo tracks but it’s good anyway.

Totally agreed! Guitar riffs like this one or Porcelain's outro are also a reason why I love this band so much!

I just listened to it and it's gorgeous, from "Organon" to "Beluga". For me it is perfect, especially with the gloomy weather it is really lovely to my ears. Emma's voice is ethereal as always and the vocals overall is heaven. My favorite track is "Shoulders"
