I made my comments before listening to this video. I like doing that to see if im saying anything that Moody would say. I think lot had a desire to be rich it was all about wealth. But Abraham was a very spiritual man He's eyes was on God and the will of God. Thats why the world cant understand how a sinner once he turns to Christ can be different. When turning to the Lord the desires for the world doesnt have a strong hold on a person anymore. You dont just choose to be that way it happen after Christ comes into a person heart. You began to think like Christ then. Youre about the Fathers business. Your eyes is on making it to Heaven the world doesnt look so good anymore. Amazing How God can change a man. Im sure glad He can and does.

As i was thinking about Abram given Lot the choice which way to go. God already knew lot would choose to go toward Sodom. Had Abram told Lot to go toward Sodom when Lot did go and found himself in a mess He couldnt blame his problems on Abram because lot chose to go that way. My Son made some bad choice's about 2 weeks ago I tried to tell Him to not go the way He was going but he did it anyway. Now its costing him for not listening. He made his bed to say, Now he's going to have to lay in it. But teens think they know it all. So even though it hurts me to see what he's going thru theres nothing i can do but pray and trust God to help Him. There things teens do that only God can bring them out of. Just like Lot it took the angels of God to take hold of Lot to bring him out. Sometimes you can get what you want and lose what you have. Well i know one thing id rather have God then this whole world and everything in it. All that stuff wont mean nothing when you die. I dont know why people let junk get such a hold on them to were they think its worth going to Hell over. Lot came out of Sodom but i wonder if Sodom ever came out of Him.

Abraham was saved by faith is what scripture says. Still, regarding him saying that Sarah was his sister, the reality is that she was his half sister. Wasn't Abraham amazingly faithful to the Lord and trusting him and obeying him, compared to the majority of us? I think that's why we have the account of his life and scripture, both for historical purposes and also so that we can learn something from him. Isn't that why there's record of these men in Scripture? They aren't our Savior, but we still can learn something from them, right?

In The days of Noah, God looked upon the earth, and saw that all the inhabitants were full of sin and sinful thoughts, except Noah and his family.... Yet, you stated that God couldn't look at His Son upon The Cross because he couldn't look upon the sin that he bore. Isn't it because he couldn't bear to see His Son Suffer??? Does anyone have an answer to this???🙏
@jeremiahzeiset11 ай бұрын
I don't know, does the Bible say that God couldn't look at Jesus because of the sin that he bore? I personally doubt that that was the reason. I don't know that God even didn't look at Jesus on the cross. All that we have is that Jesus said my God my God, why have you forsaken me. But that doesn't mean that God didn't see him there.

Unfortunately, like probably most people, I have sometimes run ahead of the Lord. A few times I thought I knew what it was doing, and logically it made sense, but perhaps I didn't have peace in my spirit. So waiting on the Lord I believe involves waiting on him for clear confirmation in the spirit as well as through wisdom and reading of scripture. I don't know if that makes sense. But I believe that as you move forward, you will learn to discern when it is your will and when it is God's will, especially true after having made a few mistakes. I wish we didn't, but it does seem like that often happens. That we make mistakes, but then, we better learn from them.

Its a story, not necessarily real and that is the first principal. Why is this important..because the story will/can be used abusively now...why not go see that preacher? why not do what some unscrupulous snake oil salesman says to do...why go to that river etc. We must learn the lesson....that is beyond the story...ie ears to hear. So the first thing is that we MUST know and feel that the person whom we are going to...IS a prophet. In other words has credibility...Do not go wash in the river because of your most recent cult leader says to do it. Better yet, get in a spiritual mindset...pray about the "prophet" and the "prophets" advice and if "the spirit of the Lord" tells you to follow...then do so. Otherwise..run away. This is the principal of "the divine is within you". Follow Yeshua's authority and his teachings that resonate in your spirit...seek the spirit he sends and get confirmation. If no confirmation....ie risk vs reward is not correct. Don't do it. This is wisdom. Waiting for a strong feeling is exactly what the Lord wants my friend. Get rid of the requirement for literalism in the scriptures and instead see them as encoded truth that resonates with your spirit. This is the new key imo. Hope this helps someone. You do not just "obey"...not at all folks. Peace.

Your quoting psalm 110… two lords mentioned figured it was lord said unto my lord… Yahweh looking at Jesus asking him to sit on his right side. Basically same thing the devil tells Jesus when he takes him to tallest mountain. At that time David’s lord was Jesus and he was a melchisidek preist. Paul questions quotes in hebrews at what time did an he an angel say sit my right hand etc…. It’s all exposing Yahweh angel worship from what I can tell.

Though I know it's often said, but, however, Jesus The Christ WAS NOT a sacrifice. That's exactly the incorrect term. Where, per The Scriptures, is Jesus? He's at the right hand of God! I do not believe God is in the business of tricking us. To say He sacrificed Jesus is to say Jesus is dead. But Jesus is not dead! To sacrifice means to give something up, if one takes the alleged sacrifice back, then it WAS NOT a sacrifice. Also, per John 3:16, we do not have to perish(die). The flesh(body/vessel) will certainly die! The body is not me! I live up here in this brain. I can pretty much do whatever I want to with this vessel...be it right or wrong.

So sad this man Denys the truth of that thief, he went to paradise with Christ . Not heaven. Paradise in the Old testament was Abraham’s bosom. Jesus did not go to heaven he went to the grave for 3 days. Into the death into Paradise preached unto the captives and lead those to Heaven if they believed. King David all the prophets Were asleep. It was not uncommon for those on the crosses to take 3 to 4 days to die. Jesus just allowed that one to die quickly. This thief was still under the old covenant. The New Testament could not be ushered in until the death of the testator. Mark16:16 Acts 2:38 Acts chapters 10 and Acts chapter 19. Believing alone is not enough. Satan believes and trembles. He’ll not be in Heaven. Jesus rebuked John the Baptist. Remember what Jesus said to him? He must be baptized to Fulfill ALL righteousness. Even the flesh Jesus insisted on being baptized in water. Confession removes sin from the inner man, baptism represents the burial and washing away of sin and being filled with the Holy Ghost as presented in the entire book of Acts gives us the power to live above further sin. The 3 fold God head in Three fold baptism. Whatsoever we do in word or deed do all in my name said Jesus. All power in heaven and earth is given to me saidJesus. Jesus said in Mathew 28:19 go baptism in the Name (singular noun) of the Father, and if the Son and of the Holy Ghost. 3 prepositional phrases modifying the noun NAME. The command was to understand the Name and baptize those who confessed they were sinners and confessed that JESUS was God in the flesh. And the promise of power to live in but not of the World would be given. Acts chapter 19 proves this. Peter came upon believers that also believed unto Repentance and were baptized by John to remit their sins had not been filled with The Holy Ghost. Nor had they heard of it. So now your hearing of it. So Peters group laid hands on them and prayed and they were all filled they know this because they spoke praises unto God . Peter obeyed the command in Mathew 28:19. The todays church just repeats it they do not obey it. There is no remittance in pronouns. Only in Jesus Name. It’s a 3 fold God head and it’s a 3 fold singular act of salvation. Some teach if you repeat after me your saved. Jesus taught without repentance and the washing away of sins they are still hanging over our heads waiting to re enter the clean swept house. We must move the Holy Spirit into us by the infilling of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in a praise language. Which is not the gift of known tongues. Oh dear ones if Jesus demanded to be baptized why do you reject this example. The thief was under the old covenant. Once Jesus died not till his resurrection and ascension was the Holy Ghost given. Not until Acts 2 did anyone receive power to live before God in Jesus flesh sacrifice.

Jesus went to what is called Paradise in the Old Testament, it had two side with a great gulf in between. One side was paradise, where Old Testament saints went when they died, the other side was where the non believers went when they died. So Jesus had not yet ascended to His Father, when He did ascend to His Father He took the captives from the paradise side up to His Father. So now paradise is empty on that side. Only the side with non believers have all of them held there until the Great White Throne Judgement! I do hope this helps you to understand what the Old Testament called that place, it was Sheol. There is no way the Sodomites would have elected a man such as Lot in their leadership structure. It says: '.....righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)-...' (2 Pet 2:8-9) Such evil people as the Sodomites would never choose a man who hated their wicked ways to be ruling over them as say a judge. Just as it is today, he would have been tolerated if he kept his mouth shut,, which seems what is what was going on from what Peter describes. But to be in any position of power or authority, outside of being a wealthy person in trade and commerce, I do not think so.

Interesting perspective. Are you saying you don't think we should read about the men of the Bible who were faithful to Christ, for inspiration? And, how does one avoid giving the false impression that can be given that we can live however we wish, as long as we have faith in Jesus Christ?
@lisakillz1853 Жыл бұрын
@@jeremiahzeiset because you cannot lose your salvation. Jesus said" I have not lost one that you have given me"the prodigal son was never not a son. Anything less than this implies that the sacrifice on Calvary the blood that was paid by Christ is insufficient which is a lie

Is there but one source of light? Can there be individual beams of light contributing to the whole light? Should the sacrifices of any other spiritual masters, besides Jesus the Christ, who devoted their lives to giving us the truth, which has brought us to our present state of consciousness, be rejected as "works"?
@jeremiahzeiset Жыл бұрын
@@skykennedy3574 My understanding according to scripture is that there is no source of spiritual light outside of Jesus Christ (John 8:12). However, in-as-much as others are following Christ, we are allowed to follow them (1 Corinthians 11:1). The commandments to be holy as Christ is holy originates from the Lord, not from man, therefore we're not obeying manmade works, but Christ himself. That is the different. All other light though, outside of Christ, is false light. Even the devil comes as an angel of light, but it's an imitation, not the real thing.
