Hi guys. I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this in the comments, but it makes total sense that your opinions were divergent this time around. Scents smell different depending upon your environment. Winter in North America vs. Sicily would DEFINITELY make a huge difference in the appeal of a scent.

Yes!!! Exactly what I thought!!! Air temperature, humidity and the ambience as well (surrounding furniture, spesific “house” smell, some food aromas from prevoius lunch for example that you don’t smell anymore but they mix into the perfume smell...

I was just pondering on that...what’s considered an “appealing” scent is so psychological, cultural, and environmental! My favorite thing is how expressive these two are about their likes and dislikes, and even when they don’t like the fragrance they express it in a respectful way that doesn’t outright say “this perfume sucks 😒”, it’s always a variation of “this is bold on someone else/ it’s not for me”

Another idea came to mind: maybe you could do like a "girls VS boys" edition where you take women fragrances and make a girl and a guy smell them and then see the differences in their opinions. The same can be done for men perfumes as well of course.

The Bvlgari Omnia Coral had been my signature scent. This is not my boyfriend's absolute favorite (he is hard to please) but he remembers me and the place where I first wore it whenever he smells this one. It is simple but classy. I finished the whole bottle!

Yes! And to me it makes it smell like warm cotton candy. I love it, same as La vie est belle but I like sweet gourmandy scents! Plus scents like these do well on my skin and get me compliments. Then again I am very picky with scents cause scents to me are to spicy or old lady floral very quickly.

You should definitely try scandal. I bought it few days back. I honestly love it and it stays on for hoursss like 12 +. Perfumes are highly subjective, definitely should try it out in a boutique.

Scandal is beautiful if you like super sweet scents. For me it lasts forever. I can smell it on my shirt the next day. It lasts through super hard workouts. I've gotten multiple compliments from the most random people like the cashier at Walmart and nurses at a hospital 🤣 the problem with fragrance is you have to really smell for yourself before making a decision. Scandal became my absolute favorite after ignoring it for years. I have La Nuit Tresor on the way as well:) I'm excited to try it.

I agree with Bulgari Omnia Corral. Smells amazing! I get many compliments every time I wear it. The entire Omnia collection is beautiful but Corral is my favorite from the line.

@@MarianaReinders I typically do about 4-5 sprays and it will last me all day. I spray in the morning right before work and I’ve gotten compliments at end of day. I can say that it lasts on me for at least 8 hours. Also I spray on my skin and clothes.

@@chanthirikapuvi8318 its good smells fresh like a garden just like how they describe it. It's not over powering at all. Very light smell doesn't give me a headache. The only thing I don't like about it is the pump (sprayer) it's made of plastic and whenever I spray it creeks you know the sound of a plastic material.. but the bottle itself is made of glass it's the top part that is made of plastic.

@@Zswcde it's good fresh smelling perfume. Not over powering doesn't give me a headache. It smells like a garden with flowers very light perfume just fresh and clean. The only thing I don't like is the top part of the packaging is made of plastic where the sprayer is it creeks whenever I spray.. the bottom bottle part is made of glass atleast.

The season, weather, and location will absolutely influence your preferences! It’s very difficult to appreciate a heavy fragrance in the heat or tropical environment. Likewise, a softer, lighter fragrance will be underwhelming in the cold winter. This is why I always circle back to fragrances I dislike in a different season.

Yup! That might have to do with why they are not agreeing on some scents. It might not suit the conditions

Omg YES, i totally agree with Anthony on Scandal! I bought a bottle a year ago totally on blind because of all the reviews and from me it is a bit no-no. It smells very sharp, synthetic and sticky - ofc, it has honey notes in it, however it is not a pleasant honey, more like the one that is gonna trap and drown you. I cannot wear it without getting annoyed, altough I am still trying to find my way to it. Therefore, I think it is a hit or miss kind of perfume and I highly suggest getting a sample before buying a full bottle. :)

Loved this. 😂 I've sampled half of these fragrances myself, and I think the first impression is very accurate to how they describe it, but I wonder is there some way to also compare how they smell once they settle, because the result is soooo different.🙃 the Gucci one becomes extremely generic, Tresor dies down too and becomes dusty, Oud Bouquet becomes less sharp and more pleasant.. maybe have extra sample sprayed hours before to compare with fresh one? I guess having it on warm skin makes all the difference. 😆

Totally right. Scandal it's very strong in the beginning, bit after 30 min it's changes on my skin and it's wonderful.
