That time may have been at 12 or 13 or at 45. It don't matter. Help lift each other up, not tear each other down. As for guys smack talking each other about the weight they are pulling when doing sets together. Every instance I have seen of that is between friends. Friendly competition is great, even though it may not look friendly from the outside.

The gym is supposed to be a place to workout, self-improvement, and empowerment. Instead, it's a breathing ground to destroy men's character and reputation. Nobody asked to come if you don't like people around stay your ass home they've ruined the gym culture I workout from time to time. Last week I was at the gym I can tell you it was a breath of fresh air there were a lot more men working out doing their own thing you don't have to worry about being labeled as a creep. And if you want to use a machine they'll let you know and maybe offer some tips when there done nor will they have an attitude and sometimes I see other guys just talking offering pointers. My point is it's just more enjoyable experience there's no built up anxiety or uncomfortable feelings. If you look for one second in their direction they give you dirty looks, lable you as a creep, and post a video on social media they are not there to workout there their to expose men who are so called looking at them. Not mention they like to show off their Skippy gym outfits to the internet It's all for attention and validation. There was a video out there where this young woman accused a man for so called staring at her she tried to destroy his character and reputation well joke's on her. She was kicked out and had her gym membership revoked justice was served I don't even see men interact with them it's gotten to the point where a girl was struggling with a weight and was stuck asking for help. Nobody responded and we know why it would be better if there were separate gyms I would support that 100% it just makes me sick seeing what they do at the gym.

She then showed them a video of herself beating down two guys and two women as part of her grading for her Instructor's Level in Krav Maga. She said, the smirks and the colour soon left their faces. That's when she asked them, all stern faced, what the joke was? They started stuttering and denying they were talking about her, or looking at her. My wife said, "Okay let's keep it that way" She said she hasn't seen them in the gym since. Misogynistic treatment stems from how a misogynist man would address a woman. I was at the gym one time and this girl thought I was flirting with her just because I asked her if she was using a machine. Her entire attitude was disgusting, if only she knew I have a gay dating app on my phone. Narcissists will always believe everyone is interested in them.

@9:04 "type of girl who never smiles, never makes eye contact, but is really nice if you approach her." There are lots of girls who are nice if you approach them, especially if you're in really good shape and clearly are at the gym to workout, not hit on women. And bonus points if you don't approach a lot of girls, they'll notice if you only approach girls you're actually interested in and know that you're not just talking to every girl there. Makes them feel special. But just because they're nice, smiling, giggling etc. Don't mistake that for actual interest. The odds of finding a girlfriend at the gym are shockingly low, no matter how well the conversation goes. I've had interactions like the guy had with the girl @9:15. Goes great, you leave feeling good, maybe even have some butterflies. But it either doesn't go anywhere, or the next time you see her, she's avoiding you. That's the worst, when they avoid you and you have no idea why.

I turn my back on women at the gym or look up at the ceiling. I'm there to work out not try to look at someone who is obviously seeking attention by wearing ultra tight cloths with no underwear. After a few fake sets they usually walk away.

Lighter weights are part of endurance training. Go ahead and poke fun at the guy using 10 lbs cable curls… after you crank out that 100 rep set after him. High rep - low weight sets are challenging and a key part of a balanced training regimen.

Woman lifting more weight than a guy : "I'm stronger than him!" Guy lifting less weight than a woman: "I'll be toned soon enough" It's amazing to me that a woman see's a man lifting less weight than the maximum he can as a negative. Look up the definition of Toning. I can not go to the gym for years and curl a 60 pound dumbbell, I sure as sh-t aint gonna do reps with it though. I'm gonna grab 20-25's and do large rep, multiple sets with those. That doesn't mean I'm weak, that means I'm smart lol. Aint no one making fun of any woman doing 80 pound bench presses or like those squat bars with the extra bars and pads on them, they come off as training wheels for a squat, but again its work smarter not harder. Doing a regular squat is awkward, I would use the padded bars too.

I hate the anxiety in the gym now as I’m getting older. At 52 one wrong move and I’m labeled as creepy. I’m ready to spend a fortune on a home gym and just be done with the nonsense.....

I was about to enter the gym one day when a woman just outside accused me of being a creep and told me if I tried to talk to her, she would call security. I was only trying to warn her that she was walking in a crosswalk while a car was making a left turn on red. The car hit her and I continued into the gym to go change. The paramedics were still trying to stabilize her while I began my workout. Oh well.

I was comfortable and felt no need to film for ANY reason, not form or anything. Did I get hit on? On occasion sure but most of the time, guys knew I was there to focus and respected that. Just keep your eyes on your own paper and do your workout.

I'm so glad no more of these gym girls come to my MMA dojo. A few did try. One literally wore only a crop bra and all the boys were feeling uncomfortable. One of them literally came up to me and asked me to tell the girl to put a shirt on. I had no issue with the request because the dojo is family orientated and I teach self defence to youngsters and infants as well. I told her, "look I have nothing against your body but you are making the boys uncomfortable. Please get a shirt on. There are also children present that just finished their class before you and thier parents are not pleased. Put a shirt on." She didn't like it, and tried to fight me. The boys noticed and had my back and bolted to the bossman. He came in and confronted the girl but she played the victim card instantly. He too said get a shirt on. She left, never returned.

I was working out (I’m 57, and it took 10 years to get back into it) I’m very insecure about my fitness level now and it was hard to start. I was about 1 week into getting back and walking on a treadmill… the about 25 year old girl next to me sighed really heavily and got off hers. She said “ugh fuck! Old pervert” and looked at me. I was completely caught off guard. It really bothered me. I then moved to free weights and started very low because I’m old and not in shape anymore. This same girl got the manager to come over and question why i decided to start using a treadmill next to this girl and make moaning sounds while walking next to her. I was shocked. I explained that I was out of shape and breathing was difficult after 15 minutes of incline walking. The girl told him to tell me she had a boyfriend and she didn’t want me near her again. I was like “wtf? I’m gay” I walked over to her and told her I’m gay and she is delusional. I also told her she is a 4 on a good day and if I wasn’t gay, I still wouldn’t be interested in her.
