These vintage races still have all the juicy drama. Kenya has been doing this long-distance thing for a while now.

من الجزائر: لولا الخطأ التكتيكي من خالد سكاح،وانه ترك لهم توسعة الفارق إلى(60 م) لما استطاعوا ان يصمدوا أمام سرعته النهائية إطلاقا. اتذكر ايام خالد سكاح العربي الوحيد الذي تالق في إختراق الضاحية( وهو أصعب من المضمار ). والله احب خالد سكاح لله في الله .

Antibo's drama(an epileptic attack that practically ends his career) probably costs gold medal to Skah. He follows the italian because he was his greatest rival in those years.

Chelimo was phenomenal, Tanui lethal. Khalid Skah-devastating. But unfortunately, out of misplaced self-confidence, Skah underestimated his opponents ,the unpredictable and indomitable Kenyans,and he ended getting devasted himself as the gold medal evaporated right in front of his eyes. The race however, was a thriller.

The sacrifice that Chelimo made was commendable. It passed the 5,000 to world record. Then it was a matter of holding on at a rate of 2.50 so that Skah had no chances.

Eamon Martin never really seemed to get it together in major championships, (yes I know he won the 90 com games 10k , but that's a bit below world class).

أي سباق أجراه خالد السكاح مع أن العداؤان الكينيان عينهما على خالد السكاح رغم تأخره كثيرا قبل الدورة الأخيرة السكاح أخطأ التقدير وخسر ربما قيادة السباق
