Yeah, when he was young dad told him that he has to relax on the pool. And he just asked how to do that ? His dad told : Show that it doesn't matter to you and he showed middle finger to his father and that is the story, middle finger FTW

everyone stop shitting on santo and read the replies to the comments pls
No offense, but pointing the middle finger at the camera is low-class. Why did Santo point the middle finger at the camera anyway?

It's a good luck signal/joke between his father and himself.

+dafool98 This is a joke , it is because when he was a child was short and thought q would not be able to become a professional, and one day they spoke to him hit it one fuck on the issue of time and move freight until one day he made this gesture to his father but in the sense fuck differences .

he gave his father the middle finger and his father gave it back to him. its a good luck ritual theyve had for years. camera man happened to be in the middle of it

"[He said] You've got to build your confidence yourself and say eff everybody else that you're racing. He said 'Every time you're behind the blocks, give me the finger and I'll give it back to you.' Athletes always have that one thing that gets them going that they need to do. That happens to be mine and still is. Seeing everybody's reaction to it has been interesting. I'm not trying to piss people off. I just put it in the middle of my forehead now. My dad is definitely giving it to me and I can see him from a mile away."
