What a race, what a winner, WHAT A COMMENTARY. All superb. I still remember this race now. Never used to rate indoors, but gee it's exciting. Keen to see a lot more. Thanks for re-posting. Think Beamish has a lot more to gain and give in the next few years if he keeps healthy.

Hobbs ran an absolutely perfect race. Couldn’t help that the other guys just have a little more top end but he couldn’t have ran that race any better

@@jazzyjay4595 Kessler is still young ( barely 21) and new to this stage. Looks like he is working on going out in a faster pace/ not hanging back as he usually does.He’s learning how to race against the best in the world and isn’t afraid to be at the head of the pack. Pain is an issue excellent teacher. True athletes remember the races they lost more then the races they won.

Beamish keep out of trouble. Stayed on the inside as much as possible. Didn't clip a heel once, so ran a very smooth race considering the hustle and bustle. Which I think was the difference in the end, allowing him to use all of his kick to win on the outside.

The question is, how would Beamish have done in Paris if he ran the 1500m? (He chose the 3000m steeplechase instead) He did beat future Olympic champion Cole Hocker in this race after all. (Kessler who got 3rd here finished 5th in Paris, and Nordås who finished 5th here finished 7th in Paris)

A lot of pushing/elbows/shoving to protect their positions. Wondering where was Kerr/Ingle/Nag? Thinking 5he field was there for the money/demands from sponsors/ racing to see where the training is going with it being the off season . Hocker still has the gold medal/ can never lose that.This race was just one of many on the circuit.
