Also times will naturally get better over time as tracks, shoes and training improves. Accomplishment Breakdown for 400m only (Individual global medals + WR) MJ: 6 Golds + WR WVN: 3 Golds + WR Not to mention MJ also won 3 more golds in the 200m and also broke the 200m WR And even if you are talking about currently, he is still not the king. He has medaled in let alone won a global championship since 2017.

I am tired of always hearing people bring up MJ everytime Wayde's record is mentioned, and this is done in a manner that is intentionally dismissive of Wayde. . MJs 400m record is the past, the current is Wayde's. Give him the respect that is due to him . and If you had asked me, you'd know that I think that the best 400m runner is Kirani james and my current fave is Steven Gardiner.
