@@reinadumalisile3812 You really think the fastest sprinter is the greatest sprinter. So if a nobody comes along, break the WR and then retires immediately, they then become the greatest sprinter because they have the WR??? Come on does that make any sense. Also times will naturally get better over time as tracks, shoes and training improves. Accomplishment Breakdown for 400m only (Individual global medals + WR) MJ: 6 Golds + WR WVN: 3 Golds + WR Not to mention MJ also won 3 more golds in the 200m and also broke the 200m WR And even if you are talking about currently, he is still not the king. He has medaled in let alone won a global championship since 2017.

@@afrobuddy4801 Why does any of this always have to be brought up when Wayde's undisputed record is mentioned and when no one has asked. I am tired of always hearing people bring up MJ everytime Wayde's record is mentioned, and this is done in a manner that is intentionally dismissive of Wayde. . MJs 400m record is the past, the current is Wayde's. Give him the respect that is due to him . and If you had asked me, you'd know that I think that the best 400m runner is Kirani james and my current fave is Steven Gardiner. Nowhere did I say Wayde is the greatest, but he deserves his respect becauise he is the reigning world record holder. Idgaf about MJ's past record. The former athletes paved the way for the new generation to shine but y'all won't let that happen, using the OGs names to overshadow the younger athletes even when it is not necessary. Come On. Do better!
