Yes Christine is a legend during her time literally breasted the tape to win back to back an Olympic Gold and silver and 2 World championship Gold medals. She is undoubtedly Britain's greatest Sprinter (male or female) and one of the most intelligent sprinters in the way she paces her race and powers home from the back to win in the most difficult and demanding of all the sprints. Her lovely quiet and humble personality hides the fierce and determined competitor that she really was. She retired when the ovation was loudest and fix not fade away into obscurity so kudos to her achievements as Olympic and World Champion, her legacy will outlive her. Some other athletes would stay on long after the height of their glory has died to the point that they will be remembered more for their failures than the one or two medals they won at the peak of success and fame.
