Thank you, XGames, for running this. What an awesome competition this was, history in the making. Gui Khury brought years of joy to my eyes and the rest of the lads were impressive as usual, despite struggling to put anything down. Dude amen to that. I spent years trying to get a vert ramp in our hometown. They're hard to maintain, that's the big issue. It's 100K or more that's gonna last all of 10-15 years. Still, California is the destination for vert skaters (and any skaters, really)... I spent 2 months in California and my skating improved by orders of magnitude

@@theskatemap oh for sure. we had to get one of our parents drive hours to our nearest skatepark, and pay like 15 bucks or whatever. i lived in dallas too... the dude with one leg jon comer was always there, and there was always a pro skate crew showing up. it's crazy how many skateparks there are now in general. street skating is thriving for sure.

@@greatpaintfxxauchspeeddraw2665 body varial is pretty sick i guess. nollie is idk. seems like it could be just someone's preferred way to start. now if the nollie person also does 900 another way thats super sick. this actual flip trick is next level though. at least to me. im not a huge fan of vert skaters that never do flip tricks also. i never skated vert so i cant really attest to the difficulty so my opinion is pretty worthless btw
