You asked for it. so here it is. A list of all the kit-kats you tried in order (including the two not shown being eaten) 1. Strawberry white chocolate 2. Wasabi 3. Momiji Manju (Maple leaf shaped cake filled with red bean jam - originating in Hiroshima) 4. Green tea (this was the mild variety) 5. Tokyo Rum Raisin white chocolate 6. Strawberry 7. Hojicha-roasted tea (not coffee) 8. Melon and cheese 9. Matcha (This was the more intense style that included matcha flecks) 10. Purple sweet potato 11. Cranberry and Almond 12. Special Edition Dark chocolate Matcha (more green tea) 13. Shinshu Apple 14. Strawberry (there are literally 3 differnet packages and variations for the same flavor) 15. Red Bean sandwich (Red bean paste is used as a dessert filliing for many Japanese treats especially breads) 16. Strawberry cheese cake. Last were two that I notice on the table but were never tasted on camera Black - Dark chocolate Pink - Sakura Matcha (Cherry blossom green tea)

Strawberry, or Strawberry and Crème Wasabi Maple Leaf Maybe Green Tea (picture was fuzzy) Rum Raisin Raspberry Black (Milk) Tea Hokaido Melon Marukodo? I’m not sure, I can’t make out the Kanji in the beginning Yam or Sweet Potato Cranberry Almond Otona no (can’t see kanji) sa. Green Tea? Apple Strawberry Red Bean Paste Sandwich (Sweet Bean, Azuki Bean) Crème Brule, Caramel Cheese Cake Hope That Helps!

The reason for KitKat doing so much in Japan is because it became popular as it sounds similar to a phrase roughly translating to "Good Luck". Through some great marketing it has become a really popular chocolate bar and, from what I've been told by a lot of Japanese, is given to people during the exam periods as, shockingly, a good luck present. Due to the popularity, they are able to test a lot of flavours without much risk. (I'm basing this on what I've been told by people when I visited Japan, multiple times and the KitKat store I visited in Japan last time, so may not be 100% accurate, but it's close) In the UK, we had a KitKat chunky 'competition' with 3 flavours and voted on the favourite. Peanut butter won, but they've introduced others since... So maybe in the future we might have our own large variety like Japan.
@kalliemae89216 жыл бұрын
That purple swirl one you ate is Purple Sweet Potato and the Shinsu Apple one is actually from Shinsu in Japan, hence the name lol. The green one you said tasted like golf shoes is green tea. Just a few I know! You guys are awesome!!! Love ya!!!

Can't see all the wrappers clearly, so I'm not 100% sure, but this is the list of flavors I think you had: 01. "wa ichigo" is made with Tochiotome strawberries specifically 02. wasabi 03. adzuki momiji-manju which is a type of "pastry" (not the flakey kind) with sweet red bean filling 04. green tea, regular usucha (I think... there's a lot of different green tea KitKats... usucha is thin matcha with usually a subtle taste) 05. rum raisin 06. raspberry 07. hojicha (roasted green tea) 08. Hokkaido melo 09. green tea, a stronger version of the regular usucha or from a specific location (can't tell without trying to read the wrapper) 10. ube, sweet purple potato 11. dark chocolate version from their "moleson" line (they all got that topping in this line) of KitKats 12. green tea, koicha (thick matcha)... or specific from a location (can't without trying to read the wrapper) 13. apples (specifically from Shinshu) 14. strawberry 15. azuki (sweet red bean) sandwich 16. strawberry cheesecake FYI, they do have a caramel pudding (aka flan) flavor. Hope this comment helps! Also, if you go to Japan and find a KitKat Chocolatory shop, you'll see a lot of their new luxury lines.

There are about 250 flavors. Some are regional and you can only get in certain parts of Japan. Some are seasonal and only appear for special occasions. Most convenience stores sell 4-5 types but the harder to find only come in big packs and cannot be bought individually. One of the oddest and hardest ones to find is Sprite/Coke combination. Sake was one of my personal favs along with Raspberry.
