Normally we lay down for a facial to relax so then nothing falls off, but yes I do see the difference it worked really well on Cams face but it really worked for Austin’s lips!

FYI botox is used on the upper face ie between eyes, forehead. Fillers are used for smile lines and lips, chin and cheaks.

@Freedomwillring bitox is supposed to be used to stop muscle movement and fillers for wrinkles and pumping. If they are not used in the way they're intended, then the clinician doesn't know what they're doing.

I get Botox. BUT I don’t do it for vanity. I do it for my migraines. You can use Botox for muscle spasticity, muscle disorders, excessive sweating, migraines and of course cosmetic dermatology. I don’t have forehead wrinkles anymore because I get it injected into my temples and right above my eyebrows 😂 I actually enjoy it. Not the actual injection but the result I enjoy. I went from having 3-4 migraines a week to having 1-2 migraines a month. And, bonus...no more forehead wrinkles!!

I never knew! I'll lucky enough that my imitrax medicine works dependably, so I guess I just never really had to look outside of it? Do you know why it helps? Also, cosmetic surgery is valid. It was internalized misogyny that made me think otherwise for many years. But I got better lol. My point is, even if you were getting botox for purely cosmetic reasons, that too would be valid. If anybody tries to make a deal out of it, just imagine some slapstick violence upon them lol. Your all good sister.

@@rosemali3022 oh yeah of course. I wasn’t trying to make it seem like it wasn’t valid. I apologize if it came across that way. You are very lucky that Imitrex works for you. No kind of medication worked for me. Which is why my doctor thought we’d try Botox and so far that is the only thing that works for me. But I also have medication tolerance. It basically means that my body develops immunities to painkillers as soon as I take it. So no painkiller works for me. Personally I think Botox does work because its technically not a painkiller. But to answer your question, Botox is a blocker of chemicals called Neurotransmitters that carry pain signals from your brain. Kind of like a roadblock. It blocks the pain signals from your brain to the nerve endings in your head and neck.

And yes, I am very lucky it works for me, though I didn't know it was a pain killer. If anything I would have thought it a muscle relaxer. Im triggered randomly, but also by some hotdogs (even good brand), and my mom is triggered by canned salsa. Hbu? Oh, and let me send you the video that helps me.

@@rosemali3022 that’d be great! Thank you! I am a teacher actually but all my information comes from my husband. He’s a doctor and recommended I talk to my primary doctor about Botox. A lot of migraine medicine has muscle relaxers in them but they are also painkillers. Which is why none of them work for me unfortunately. But a lot things can trigger a migraine. Especially if you’re intolerant to them. My dad also has migraines but we discovered he’s gluten intolerant. So we cut off his gluten intake and his migraines virtually stopped. He still gets them on occasion but they are not nearly as painful as before. So far my husband and I can’t find any triggers for my migraines. Which sucks but 🤷🏻‍♀️ what can you do?

It basically immobilizes the nerves in the muscles to reduce wrinkles. They also inject fillers too and people with naturally full lips used to be considered dubious ethnically and made fun of or treated accordingly. I have always had naturally full lips and have had people question or presume my ethnicity and white people have an issue of it and some people angry and offended because of it thinking I am trying to misrepresent my ethnic heritage when I have never done any of that

I agree with them on why do people use plumping stuff because I understand he gets rid of the wrinkles and stuff on your face but it also plump see your face which makes your face look heavier so you’re defeating the purpose of the contouring and all that in your make up where it’s supposed to make your face look thinner if you use something to plump it no lip plumping is different I still don’t like it but for those people with really thin lips I understand why they do that
