probably should have told you that you only use enough cranberry juice so the noodles absorb all the liquid while cooking so they are sweet and salty. but total headtrip seeing my suggestion up there.

My grandfather's favorite dessert: Pour some dark Karo syrup onto a plate. Add a pat of butter. With a fork, squish it all up and mix well until it looks like caramel. Then tear off pieces of bread, swipe them trough the mix, and pop it in your mouth. Tastes like butterscotch!

Here in Lincolnshire (UK) it's not uncommon to eat fruitcake with a slice of cheese , or plum bread (which oddly has no plums but is a lightly spiced dried fruit loaf) with cheese or fruited malt loaf with cheese. All delicious. A personal favourite is peanut butter and pickled onions. Oh my!

We used to do a trail lunch when I did a lot of backpacking. It was meant to be all separated but I just made a whole thing of it together like a taco. It was flour tortillas, smoked sausage, dried apricots and tobasco and it was really good. Sometimes we would build a fire and cook everything. Sometimes we were trying to hurry more and ate it cold.

I have just starting watching your videos! First I LOVE them! Second whoever put in the suggestion for the peanut butter and pickles did it wrong. My great grandmother used to make us peanut butter and pickle sandwiches but you have to be very specific with your ingredients. You need to use Pepperidge farm sandwich bread, put crunchy peanut butter and top with bread and butter pickles.....it is SO GOOD!!! Please try this one again!!!

In Trinidad we can make almost any fruit into "chow". Usually it is green or halfripe mango with salt, garlic, pepper(hot), blackpepper, and bandhania (culantro). But other fruits (and cucumber) can be included like oranges, pineapple, starfruit, cashew even apples.

Here's a weird thing our family used to do when my parents were low on money...Either buttered elbow macaroni in milk....(all hot...you add milk last til warm) or what we call Slop: elbow macaroni, block of sharp white cheddar cheese and tomato juice all melted in pot. ready when cheese is melted thoroughly.

Bread or toast, peanut butter, cheese, miracle whip, bread is what you need to try. A good fishing sandwich is peanut butter and sliced tomatoes between two slices of bread. Another one is one slice of bread covered in buckwheat honey, Another slice of bread covered in peanut butter. Slap both slices of bread together and enjoy. It is also good with crisp bacon on top of the peanut butter.
