Men aren’t the only ones who have to pivot and adapt. I’ve been a widow for eleven years. Our family lost all of our wealth through a four year battle with cancer that ended in the death of my husband. Since then, I’ve built a respectable career and raised my two daughters through college with one about to graduate and already employed by a legitimate marketing firm making a very good salary. My other daughter is taking the P-CAT exam this morning for pharmacy school. I never wanted to be the head of household. I miss my husband. But, I seriously pivoted and adapted!

Realize that in the long run all of this means nothing. 10 years from now you'll look back and ask yourself, "Why did I even care?" As for the woman angle, if you're a young guy in your 20's, go to a supermarket and check out some of the chicks in their 40's and 50's and say to yourself, "Those gals I'm so worked up about now, if I get one of them, 20 years from now they're going to look like that, and I'm going to be stuck with them." Not only did they LET you disappear for 10 hours, they WANTED you to disappear. When I was a kid (also in the 70's), my mother would kick us out of the house and say, "Don't come back till suppertime. I have things to do." We lived in a heavily wooded area, and would spend all day in the woods. Either that or we'd find an open space and play 12 hours of baseball. No adult supervision, no one watching you, no cell phone to call home and let Mom know where you were. You were on your own. I guess it can't be like that anymore. Too many boogey men around.

When you are young sometimes the only cure is time and experience. I was depressed, angry, socially awkward, alone, uneducated in my early adult life. I felt like I had nothing to live for. What I have learned is the fundamental most important thing to do in life is to focus on something. Staying busy is the ultimate cure for a restless mind. When I feel anxiety, I start working. The more anxiety I feel, the harder I work. Nowadays I don't feel anxiety at all, I am calm and collected. I have established a great work ethic because of anxiety and have obtained skills that pushed me into a lifestyle I never imagined possible. I have grown into a highly capable confident person who doesn't need to rely on anyone. The most important thing about adopting this mindset is you gain purpose. I highly recommend to anyone to always use your anxiety as the driving force to focus and work. The payoff in the long term cannot be over emphasized.

I'm 38 and I have definitely been blue pilled, and I'm just coming to terms with it lately. I was a liberal, soft, romantic that would bend over backwards for my partner. I was with someone for 10 years, and a year after we got married she started an affair after hurting her back, having chronic pain and becoming depressed and a drinker. It took 2 years for me to find out about it and still tried to make it work for the next few months until she left me for a 50 year old dude who was 20 years older than her. He was already established with his own house and a 250k a year job as a construction worker. Luckily I had no children with her and next to no assets, so the divorce was easy. I've taken the time to re-evaluate my life and have made changes. I'm now a Nurse Practitioner in a private practice in Midtown Manhattan making almost 200k a year, I own a motorcycle, have a full sleeve tattoo, work out 4-5 days a week, and keep women in my frame when I go on dates. I've been much happier and much more successful, and women desire me way more than in the past. The lies of the white picket fence and family were engrained in me and now I know my reality is really just to seek and achieve excellence, and whatever comes from that is a bonus.

The rage is an absolutely normal response. From there you have a couple of options. (1) you can dwell on how it's unfair and end up in a very dark place, or (2) you can accept it and find ways to live in this new reality. If I were you, I'd go with the second choice. How do you do that? By working on your looks, money, status, and game. You don't have to be Brad Pitt, but you do have to work on becoming the best version of yourself. Room for improving never stops. Also, be careful of the all content that's out there that dives into this stuff. There are a lot of creators that only complain but offer no solution. I would just stick with Rich and the other guys that he collaborates with. They're good role models for men, especially if you grew up without a strong masculine father.

The thing is, what if being the best person you can be, means NOT having women in your life? Would you still consider yourself "the best version of yourself"? Exceptional wording & very sussinctly put man. Hard to accept that we've all been fed from the spoof buffet. The crunch comes when you hold on after she leaves. Dont pack your job in, dont hit the bottle outside of recreation. Hold on just that little bit tighter & dive into anything that will distract your mind from wandering down the gutter because a lot of the times our minds can be our enemy. Whatever your goals are, you playing with your emotions in the corner is not getting you any closer to the objective. Stop playing with yourself and start taking positive actions toward whatever you're trying to build. There are always positive actions you can take. It's your job to know your objectives, to have a plan and to execute the plan, and to measure your variables so you can adjust the plan as circumstances change around you. You can't control everything but you should be making intelligent decisions to maximize the return on investment for how you spend your allotted 24 hours per day. It's incumbent upon you as a man to be the captain of your own ship. If the ship gets lost at sea, it's your fault and you can't blame the sea for having waves.

Off my chest: How I wish I had someone like you growing up. A big brother or a father figure. I grew up without a father and no one taught me how to handle relationships with women. I was raised by a single mother and grandmother. My father passed away when I was 4. I am 32 and have been with some women but ALL of them have been low value, insecure women who needed saving and who needed someone to fix their lives. I improved their lives and I ended up with nothing, only wasted years. I thought I was having a fun time having sex with them but all I did was wasting my 20s on them. It makes me sad that I can't even mention one woman that I am proud of being with. Other than avoiding such women in the future, I learned nothing from them. At least I didn't have kids with them, that would've ruined my life. Thankfully I found your channel at the beginning of this year and also bought your book. It has helped me to slowly open my eyes and to also value myself more. I need to work on my self-esteem, I'm going to therapy for that, try to become a better person and surround myself with people who are worth being with.

I’ve been processing my own anger. But in that process, is the realization that I’m mostly pissed off at myself for having made bad choices, and staying too long. I believe that’s a major contributor to the break up of a relationship or red pill revelation. It’s human nature to initially look outward for someone else to blame. Maturity and wisdom however, teach us that our decisions are all we have control over. That’s why I believe the bitterness and resentment of a break up escalates to the level it does, because conscious or subconscious we are truly most pissed off at ourselves.

Rediscovered some others who genuinely do care. True friends are rare, but those are the ones we can count on. No one is an island, we all need someone. Life lessons can be very painful but we never forget the most painful lessons. Only 2 options: Grow from it, and become better out of it. Waller around in misery, powerless.

Disillusionment is inevitable when you're revising belief systems, but that's not the end of the road. You have to hit rock bottom before you can climb back up. I've always looked at it this way: you have two choices every day, regardless of what's happening in your life. 1.) Be destructive or 2.) be productive. Everything aside, being productive will always be better. Don't destroy, but build. Don't lament, but celebrate. Eventually, that behavior becomes habit and that habit becomes one's ethos.

Took losing my old man and my closest friend within a 3 month period to shatter all those lies and went from depression to rage to a kind of numbness. This is one of your best videos. Absolutely great advice. To bring up some more Stoic thought: in Marcus Aurelius "Meditations", he finds himself angry at a duplicitous, immoral person in the court. He asks himself angrily "why should people like this even exist?". Then he has the epiphany "People like this MUST exist. Otherwise we would have no basis for what is good behavior". For me, that's part of accepting the world "as is". I've noticed in my almost 50 years that the unhappiest people are the ones who are mad about the world and become "activists" to change it. I cannot fight gravity. Do I accept the way of the world? I won't deny, equivocate or bury my head in the sand. I will acknowledge what is. But do I pivot? But do I pivot? @Quintonir I earn more than minimum wage but online courses are great if you want to learn something but don't get you an alumni and thata is entirely how to earn more money. There is no such thing as an Entry Level pilot, you have to have the ATPL licence and that cost 60,000€ after your PPL, you can't learn that online.

I watched King Kong vs. Godzilla [2021] the other night and all that I noticed was the little girl and the scientist girl making fun of the guy calling him a coward in their sign language and laughing behind his back. This has been the Hollywood Formula since the 1980's. It just pissed me off right away. The best part of the movie was when Kong squished the bad girl in the airplane, I played that scene over and over like 6 times. 10 years ago I would not have noticed this.
