I'm a Nigerian girl in my early 30s in NYC and it's just so funny and fun to watch this. I enjoy hearing about society and dating in lagos. It sounds like a jungle! God be with y'all.

I honestly do feel for "good" men who are trying to find someone in this current society. A man who can discipline himself in all aspects of his life will fine his partner 👏

Men, dating is not that hard. In my opinion, most ladies do not have money the way social media pushes it. Plus, the way you set the tone determines how you're viewed by women. Sometimes, just explain the condition of things to the lady. If you cannot meet her expectations, let her know. If she ain't down to understand... then everyone should rest. Simple, it's not by force to date.

You're so right. We also believe that everything is a conversation away. And understanding is also very important

This is my 3rd week following this show, and I must the genuineness of the conversation is top notch! However, y’all let each other talk at a time, while I understand the intensity of having an unscripted conversation where you may forget something if it’s not said in the moment, it’s kinda chaotic hearing your voices over each other. Great show guys, can’t wait for Thursday!

Uhm for the part where you guys spoke about why parents pressure kids especially boys to tow a particular career line, I don't suscribe to the idea that it's solely about ego and eye service. The world view of our parents are clearly different from ours so I think it's important that we consider the safety net factor where they know that towing particular career lines like law and engineering tend to increase the chances of success that their kids have compared to artistic career paths. Also, there are social and moral factors generally that influence their reactions.
@madeauxafrica2 жыл бұрын
Yes, ofcourse, there are social and moral factors when it comes to how we all live
