If we get an almost 2 hour long episode like this once every week, that would be amazing.

This is my favorite episode of yours. What you delve into as femineity and masculinity is so knowledgeable and. Your Dad adds such good wisdom to this podcast!

I absolutely love your content and it has helped me confirm a lot of what I think - especially living amongst people who are obsessed with planning. I feel stronger in what I stand for. Thank you.

This very true. Sadly someone very close to me one time told me there's no point in fasting if you are not praying. Sadly that stopped me from practicing both. Still struggling with this.

Im sorry brother or sister I think that they were not intentionally trying to bush you away from the deen but the were giving you though love like our mothers do at times like this actually my mom say the same to my younger siblings in the ramadan when they are exited to fast but little lazy to pray so its the shaytan thats Bushing you away so please intentionally sit down and plan how you can pray consistely and break down the goal in to smaller pieces and use alarm as a reminder when its the prayer time its helps me too and make a lot of dua there is apps you can use like this app called dikr and dua and many more and stay away from bad friends who are not helping you to get closer to your goal which to please and obey Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and ima make dua for you byeeee

I discovered your podcast and that was a really exciting episode. I love your energy and the wise words from your dad. a little friendly hint: please let others speak out. you probably do it unconsciously, but i totally noticed and found it so unfortunate that you interrupted your father very often. let him take his time to say what he wants.❤️ salam aleikum

The most of twisted and abused ayah that many manipulaters use when thay cannot manipulate you into believing what thay want you to believe is : ..... " Indeed, it is not the eyes that are blind, but it is the hearts in the chests that grow blind".

great episode, Layla i love your speaking style but your thoughts are mostly misogynistic, you don’t even wanna see the things from women's point of view. i can understand if you don’t want to be a feminist but atleast be neutral.

you mentioned to learn and everything is button away but how should we learn about history when there’re so many contradictions and conspiracy by the people who writes about the history like everyone is projecting we were right, we were so heroic, we did this, we did that and whatever, where can we find the authentic sources and yes one of the major things how can one learn to leave what they were told from the moment they opened their eyes in this duniya or became conscious, and leave all those beliefs to learn from the scratch in the more objective way than having their biases kick in.

Salam Layla! I truely enjoy all of your podcasts and I agree with a lot of things you say and disagree with some too. However, towards the end of this podast when you made the comment on hijab it left me a bit confused on your stance towards it so I would like to request you to elaborate on it in your upcoming podcasts. Because what I understood was that you said "the people comment that you talk about Allah so much where is you hijab, they twist your words?" First and foremost nobody who doesn't know you personally have a right to comment on what you wear unless or until you are preaching something that goes completely against the words of Allah SWT. In this day and age just like the feminist propoganda a lot of our young muslim girls have also been fed a lie that Headscarf is not mandatory and how one covers themselves doesn't matter as long as their heart is in the right direction where as there are multiple ayaahs that state clearly how man and a woman should dress and how they should cover themselves. Allah SWT has given us clear teachings on how we should behave and what we should cover but if we don't do as He SWT tells us that's on us, we are answerable to him. Covering ourselves, and wearing hijab is mandatory not matter what the "modern islam" tells you but to follow it or not is on you. Heart absolutely does matter the most but the love for Allah SWT should always surpass the worldly desires. I also understand that a lot of women are struggling with their body image in this crazy world and maybe in their hearts are always making intentions to start covering themselves better and for those brave girls I pray everyday that Allah SWT makes their journey easy.

Salam Fateha & Layla, Fateha, I hope to respond to your comments from my research on the headcovering and bodycovering, inshAllah. You have incorrect information as interpretations of the Quran and Hadith may have been misrepresented to you and the masses. I am a female. After own research and reflections I stopped wearing the scarf and only wear it for prayers and funerals.

I am a feminist. But I think it leans more to equal rights like Muslim women marrying Christians and Jews similar to Muslim men. I think people should be able to discuss things politically too like both sides of Palestine and Israel.
