I woke up this morning and spoke to the Lord about my fears. I expressed my fear of not knowing how to live with a man. I grew up in a single-mother household and never got to learn how men and women should communicate and behave with each other. Marriage is in the works for me and I just asked God to teach me how to maneuver all this. Then I get this video on my timeline God is so good!

Many women do this. Unfortunately we are encouraged to be disrespectful to men. Oftentimes, it's not always intentional. Thank you for your candor!
@junglebunny70615 ай бұрын
I don’t think this is taught, if it is the. It’s taught by men’s behavior. Some men don’t act like adults. It’s near impossible to have respect for a man you’re supposed to follow who is acting like a child. When men ask me what I’m looking for in a husband I say “ a man I can respect” when that’s gone I get grossed out by them.
@victoriajoy6865 ай бұрын
Yes. But in order to have that you should not act as a child. A self controlled man make a a women to value her man. The respect will come as a default. The respect is the response, it's not the cause. It comes as a result of man's behaviour. Most men need the opposite: respect without showing any value

What's even deeper and amazing along with this enlightening information, is it actually teaches us more about our Maker. I heard John Bevere once say something like God endowed men & women with the male & female aspects of God. So, if men just want to hear thank you, how much more should we thank Him 😭💖🙌👆🙏 And many other such revelations.

You have to learn, to work on it. I don't understand that why people dosen't want to work nowadays. They only want to stay in their cave and wait for someone to save them. You need to be the right man in order to attract the right women. You have to work on yourself. If you don't understand that principle, you will be all your life in a cave waiting

Okay, from 29:00 - 29:40 Shaunti misquoted Genesis 3:16-19 - Here's the KJV Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Nothing is in those verses about feelings. Let's not add to the word.

What she is actually dancing around, but won’t say or admit here, is women’s hypergamy. Our biology, that God created, influences our behavior much more than we (often times) are willing to admit. The underlying question in summary with hypergamy is that it is always asking “Is he (or this) the best I can do?” However yes, the choice to override innate proclivity is what we as Christ followers are commanded. Additionally, in a gyno-centric social order that is the current western world, the checks and balances that society held dear and upheld is now nearly nonexistent makes it all the more difficult for men and women. Hypergamy is not bad. The choosey-ness of hypergamy has been, and still is, one of the best filters that humanity has in regard to mate selection.

Father God, thank you for making your children sensitive to the differences in men and women, boys and girls when it comes to our mental needs. Thank you Lord for raising us up in order we may complement each other, rooted in your live, wisdom and will for our lives Lord. In accordance with this word and ephesians 6:8, hebrews 10:24, james 1:5, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind one to know how and when to best verbalize and spark in one another a will to do good while being sensitive to the different needs of men and women, boys and girls even in my life , the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone not knowing how and when to best verbalize and spark in another a will to do good while not being sensitive to the different needs of men and women, boys and girls even, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤: "Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free"; "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds".

Because I do so much at home, plus I'm the one that works and bring the money, I don't verbalize apprecistion for what he does because I always expect him to do more since he is not working and the house chores is still mostly on me. So I even told him he needs to do more and not expect prsises. That's kids stuff. Now, I csn verbalize apprecistion when he does thing. I can fix that. But truly, I'm not satisified nor happy with him. He decided 2 years into the marriage he did not have to get a job and 12 years into the marriage I am the sole provider. It has put a toll on me and my respect towards him. I dont feel I want an I love you, but I want to feel safe and protected. I feel I do it all, even if he helps. Because I hate that it all still falls on me anyways since he is just helping. Any women in my shoes?
@TruthFelt8 ай бұрын
I'm not in your shoes, but I have been an over giver, let's say co-dependent, and I think it's a natural response to feel resentful when things are not recipical. Thankfully the Lord is breaking me out of this, and putting the axe to the roots, because He wants us to be in his Peace. That's why good boundaries are so important. Keeping you in my prayers.

The Bible tells us how to treat our wives. The only way to know how is to humble yourself and practice what the Bible says. The more you do it the easier it becomes. It becomes second nature and that will change your wife. It's God's design and will save your marriage. It's not as hard as you think.

Could the reason why we don't know the opposite Gs thoughts is because we've strayed away from the order of God strayed away from each other? Because we shouldn't need a study to tell us what the opposite Gs thoughts are or what there needs are if we are truly the body of Christ
@TruthFelt8 ай бұрын
I disagree. We need to study the Word to have our mind renewed. I think this study can benefit relationships, of course the Holy Spirit also is our teacher.

OK, not watching this and here’s why: Shaunti Feldhan a) lies about her qualifications to do and analyze research, and b) flatly, plainly, does not know what she is talking about. She twists research to make it say what she wants it to say, she ignored findings that do not back up what she wants to say, and she very much puts the blame and responsibility on young women to keep their male counterparts on the straight and narrow, while absolving young men of blame for bad behavior with the excuse of, “oh, that’s just how they’re wired.” She is NOT a good resource for valid information about the “differences” between men and women! Please move on!
