As a man who's 40, I tend to go for women who are not more than 10 years younger than me. A pretty face gets old very fast if they have the character of Cinderella's evil stepsisters. I'd much rather take the average but attractive girl next door with a heart of gold than a model who could make my life hell. Many average women are good looking because they take care of themselves. The mainpoint is to not be that man, or woman who looks like they gave up on themselves.

I am still not quite 40, and I have had crazy women in the US act like I was some old weirdo since I was 24 even. I am not into such judgements, of course. The truth is that men have to work hard for a very long time in order to be established at all and to have things to offer. We cannot be super young and do all that. Of course, youth is not exactly a number, but any sane man would be trying to go as young as possible in order to have a family. I would think a man was a pervert or a con artist if he wasn't interested in a woman for a family, of course. If he is not interested in the normal thing, he must be interested in something else. My mother got conned not so long ago online (she is like 60, and thought that a dude wanted money from her LOL). I had to explain to her that men do not think this way. If he liked you, he would be interested in something else (ultimately, not immediately). The other thing about a woman's appearance is it reveals character very much (especially in order to build athleticism via hard work). I find that the athletic girls simply have better character because they already know about discipline, hard work, and commitment. So the appearance in these things is very revealing. And we can't exactly try to get money out of women or something else. It does not work like that. If there is nothing on offer, then it's not a good deal, in any business. It sounds pretty suspect to be blaming men like everyone in mainstream society. A lot of us have been treated very badly. Blaming people who have been trashed on hard their whole lives (honestly, most men nowadays) is not a good look.
