I feel you. We separated in early 2015, went through a four year divorce process, and I've been raising them totally alone since she bailed in 2019 to move to Key West to find her passion. Sigh. I was with a woman I thought I'd marry from fall 2015 through 2022 (long story). It's been quiet since then. Sure, sometimes I miss companionship and sex, but for the most part the calm and quiet overcomes any longing.

​​@David-p7z9n I appreciate you saying that, CPA exam was definitely challenging you have to take 4 exams and if you fail one that screws you over because you're forced to register for all of them in advance. Also, when I was applying for my license all that was needed was a master's degree and passing the exams, but that same year they also expanded it to a significant amount of work experience as well so it really slowed down my progress.
