Well so far, nearly every single popular female vtuber has had leaks of what they look like, and none of them have been a dude with a voicechanger. So, I'll bet my life savings against yours that Menace is female, if you're feeling lucky.

Current voice changers don't really work like that, as they're usually just a simple pitch shift. If you've ever heard someone use a voice changer, it's usually pretty obvious. However, real time machine learning based voice conversion is currently being researched and developed, so in the future this will be possible.

@@ThreeCoolLink Sounds like that’s going to open a whole new can of worms. More than just men impersonating women, any person could impersonate anyone else. Like, what if somebody recorded your voice, made the AI match it, then hacked your discord or something? Takes identity theft to a whole new level. I could see it being hell for famous people, especially. An impersonator could just start a copycat channel with the stolen voice, then it’s really just a matter of how well they can act. On top of all that, there would be a a scary new frontier for voice-over editing.
