I really appreciate your honesty about the palette. I just got mine and I am absolutely in love. I am a blue eyeshadow fanatic, and 'Giant Pacific' really pulled me in, as well as 'Ink Blot' and 'Inky Torpedo'. I think the color story is really unique and I'm totally loving it. I would love it if maybe you could put together some looks using shadows from Indigo Ink, Flight Club, Whalesong, and Violet Ink- well, any of the palettes you have, really. There are so many glorious shadows from Menagerie, I would love to see what beautiful looks you could put together! Also, could you include your sweet bunny in one of your videos sometime? I love bunnies and yours is so precious. If I didn't have cats, I would have a beautiful bunny!!🐰🐰🐰

You KNOW I bought it the second it launched. I wasn't a fan of the colorstory but needed it to complete my all matte indigo palette! I'm digging the mattes & shimmers, they're nice!

I like the idea of the palette but def wish there was more true indigo instead the true blues/navy. The color story overall is cool but I'd have such a difficult time trying to do looks with it. I think I'll try to dupe it with what I own because I'm also just not really a fan of menagerie shimmers/metallics (unless they changed it. Then maybe in the future I'd give them another try)

This one was the biggest jump and grab for me... im a sucker for blue and seeing all the blue I was sold with the other fun colors... I dont think most of them are multichromes duos yes but not multi... but the price didn't stop be from getting this beauty... loved the looks you did and surprisingly the matte look was my favorite and im not a all matte person lol

I can see maybe why it didn't have more purples because of fright club. But I wouldn't of named it with the word indigo even if it was inspo from the baby ink palette. I can never choose which look is my fav they're all so gorgeous 😍

I'm glad I didn't get this one. It looks nice but I'm just saving for some different types of eyeshadows atm. I want more shifty shifts and I wasn't crazy about the color story! I just been feeling the cool tones like crazy lately. And even neutrals!? -- but color-lovers neutrals. If that makes sense? As always - i love your videos! It definitely seems like you had more to say on the multichromes but cut it out lol - but I got the hint I think. 💓

Hi MM, wanted to say if cool tones are your jam run don’t walk to Sydney grace, or devinah. I probably have 40/50 different cool tone singles from them. Lots of real neutral shades of any color. 🙂

YES I would love to see how their shadows compare too. I also noticed that they increased their prices. They actually went back and increased prices of shadows they had released months ago too. (I was going to order but changed my mind - and when I went back to check the price increase REALLY made me change my mind lol)... but I am still intrigued to see if they are worth it.

@@charmedbymeghan for what my opinion is worth, their shadows are okay. I have a large indie singles collection of around 800 shadows& own 9 from them. The closest thing I can compare them to is prettiesforyourface shadows. I know they increased price by quite a lot & that made me decide to not purchase either. Prettiesforyourface charges $5 per shimmer & $10 per "shifty" shade but does 50% off often. The prices of some of the newer bb shades are maybe priced accordingly, but the older ones that went from $7-8ea to $11+....? No. Just my two cents.

I think A deeper matte would have been nice as well. I really like to have my outter corner of my eye darker than the rest.. but other than that,I really like this palette. And i can't wait to play with it some more.

Everytime i use the shade ink blot it's super patchy. I don't think their mattes are as pigmented in this palette as their other ones. I've used 2 different primers so far but I'll keep playing around with it

I love cephalopods so so much! The packaging is adorable and it makes a lot of sense for this palette to be very colourful and have duochromes. However... I am sad there are no real indigo/violet shades and really really regret not buying the original palette. I was expecting something like the new GlamLite wine palette but that doesn't have octopus 🐙🐙🐙💜

I think the metallic in the forner is an indigo! Im personally glad this wasnt all indigo shades

I really like this palette but my damn brain cannot get over the name having the word Indigo in it and how much indigo there is not in the palette, don’t get me wrong though if they shipped to Mexico I’d get it in a heartbeat 💀so it’s probably just me being petty about not being able to get it. ETA: I think squid pro quo is just a play on “quid pro quo” which means an exchange, like “you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours” but make it Latin 😝

Someone suggested this color story looks like a Coral Reef palette, and now that's what I call it, in my head lol. Love the artwork (and octopus and indigo) but it's not consistent at all, lol

I was really excited by the artwork, but the shades inside just don't do it for me. Eventually I'd like to try menagerie, but this is not the palette to make me do it.

I did not like this color story one bit which is surprising as I like most Menagerie's palettes. I cant make sense of it, nor do I like it tbh. Plus the supposed multichromes are not showing much of a wow factor in comparison to other indies. It was very easy to save my money on this one.
