Welcome to our waters. I don’t recall giving you permission but as it’s you welcome. Sorry the weather didn’t behave Hope you enjoyed the area. We had a rough time over the bank holiday weekend. Such is sailing

In the sunshine it is a spectacular spot to be in. It is also were we learned to sail 😉

Looked like a potential beautiful spot. We were there in 2008 with plans to go through Menai strait for the first time from Holyhead but Christian (our youngest) decided a week trip to Bangor hospital was preferred (with tonsilitus aged 2.5years on a drip because he couldn't swallow) so the closest to Menai strait and Beaumaris was by bus. Have photos of the lads on bridge doing recon & crabbing in Beaumaris& tour of castle. Glad I have memories of ashore, as too rough to take soggy bottom across this time

Looked stunning through the rain and mist. Have great memories of the area from 2008 when we originally planned to get through the Swellies. John had been through with the naval reserve training when we were dating. So LONG awaited return.

LONG awaited trip though the strait. John did it with naval reserve training when we were dating but we had to cancel plan on Wavedancer in 2008 as youngest preferred going to hospital in Bangor for a week

It is a pity you did not get the nicest of weather

The few glimpses of the area between rain showers was stunning even when still covered in misty haze.
