I have the 2000 3.2 V6 and have had it for the last 2 years. Will never sell it. It has 118000 miles and still drives like a decent motor. I use it as a 4X4 every day to get to our fields and have never had any issues with it. Last MOT cost a whopping £200 including the cost of the MOT. I need to service it and do the cam belt and water pump this summer. Other than that, it's nearly as good as my old 3.1 Isuzu Trooper. Just has lots more power lol

I too have a holden frontera, bought my '96 frontera sport (SWB) in 2006, it's now 2019, I still have it and have no thought of getting rid of it. A bit underpowered but a great reliable vehicle, on and off road 😎👍

I have a 2000er Frontera with 2,2l Diesel. It is a perfekt Car for me. Low Fuel Coast, much Space, lot of trailering. And Good in Offroad. I Save it for Oldtimer!

He certainly does bring all Fronteras, Rodeos, and Passports from that time Justice. I am a proud owner of a 2000 Honda Passport EX 2WD, and it runs as if it were new!

I had the older 2.8d. Lwb. Great car off road and i towed a 15 ton wagon out of a bog with it. Id have another in a flash. Brilliant tow vehicle.

This is made back when SUVs were actually cool. I'd hate to say this, but... I miss the heyday of SUVs. Believe it or not, this SUV was sold in North America as the Isuzu Rodeo/Amigo and the Honda Passport. This SUV may not be as good as other far superior Japanese SUVs like the Mitsubishi Montero Sport, Toyota 4Runner aka. the Toyota Hilux Surf or even the Nissan Pathfinder, but it's still a lot better than those Crossover SUVs aka. CUVs, which are all nothing more than oversized pieces of junk with the sh*ttest and cheapest engines available. The only CUVs I like are the ones made by Toyota and Lexus.

I have the American version. A 1999 isuzu rodeo with 230k miles. It still runs great and everything works. Fully boxed frame and a LSD rear end from factory with disc brakes all the way around. No payments and it performs well in every setting I need it to

Mine had a 2" suspension lift and bfg's. After that it became an suv that could carry four buddies and gear to the all the good mountain stuff. Before that it was good for two and no gear.

Had One of these ,granted the 2.3TD engine ,loads of room but wouldn't pull the skin off a Rice pudding ,sadly .Now drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd with the V8 4.7l engine ,doesn't even know when I have a 2 Ton caravan on the back :)

My '98 Isuzu Rodeo used a quart or two of oil between changes, but it had 250k miles with no major repairs. I let a friend borrow it and the rear-end went out.

My Frontera hasn't got a snorkel yet and it was taken through water now theres a little water in the engine and a radiator pipe was ripped open but it's got a 2.2 liter engine and it's a pretty nippy little car

I got 2002 Isuzu Rodeo, is in perfect condition I paid 5500$ 6 years ago, running perfect the only problem is burning 1lb oil every 1000 miles .

@@recall2880 Really? I timed my dads at around 12.5 seconds and on the speedo I had it touching 110mph and yea that’s likely 90mph in real 😂 but In that big thing it felt fast . However the fun part was filling it up with diesel if I remember correctly it was £80-90

Who considers the original Frontera model to be a "pile of rubbish"? It is basically an Isuzu MU/Wizard, so its a pretty reliable car with German engines. The only issue may be the car body which is fond of getting rusty. The car body is from the UK btw.

Now thats gone high end the disco sport killed off the freelander and the new defenders all but killed off the discos place in the market. Sad really. Read the title to the video. Its a frontera. Vauxhall have never put a 1.5 litre TDI into any frontera. Anyway LITER is spelt LITRE and DISEAL is spelt DIESEL.
