I heard that Mendelson wished that all his music will be destroyed after his death; However We are all very glad that somebody kept these masterpieces for us all to enjoy.

Mendelssohn's music has a unique vibe and constant sense of movement to it. I seldom find myself bored when listening to his masterpieces.

Musique d'une grande délicatesse stylistique, si bien qu'il y a en elle de par sa vivacité et allégresse quelque chose de la divinité d'un Dieu transcendant et on ne doit pas il me semble, du tout écarter le contexte d'émergence d'un Felix M. profondément imbibé d'humanisme hébraïque de son oncle , frère de son père , Moïse Mendelssohn ainsi que bien évidemment du cercle parental converti au christianisme réformé .
