Imo Scout fits with everyone: with spy they could be the calm and cold one and the sparky and colorful one that stick together and are a perfect combination for successful operations with demo they could be best buddies who think the same way (with Scout occasionally coming to pick drunk demo up) With Soldier they could be like the movies dumb and dumber, perhaps with Scout setting some limits to Soldier's stupidity With medic we have the crazed and perfectionist and his innocent boy who he drags along just because, which isn't as smart, but has physical abilities that help with Medic's plans With engineer we could have a impetuous boy and wise man, with them occasionally having some heart to heart With Sniper we got the silent one and the more talkative one who act like polar opposites but get along perfectly as they balance each other With Pyro we could have like two best friends that always cause trouble and somehow end up fixing them With Heavy we got the big and calm one and the small energetic one that always have each other's back and have missions togheter In other words, Scout is evryone's best buddy.

So, funny thing: I've been working on something like that on and off for a long time now. It's intended to be a parody of various 80's action movies/cop shows (Miami Vice, Commando, etc.) with intentionally cheesy action and one-liners. Right now I'm trying to secure funding to hire voice actors for it, but besides that I already have pretty much everything else I need to get it done.

One thing I've always loved about this scene is how McBain is meant to be a parody of the stoic, emotionless characters you often see in these movies. The type that barely show any emotion, with their voices being super neutral 24/7. And then he hits you with that "MENDOZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

I love how the Soldier fires 11 shots off from a revolver without reloading. Flawless, though, from the Soldier being slightly larger to the glass breaking to the fact that I don't need to see the rest of the SFM, I just saw the best part.

I always love how they had McBane do completely the wrong intonation when he tells his friend to stop talking crazy. Instead of comforting his dying friend he sounds like he legit thinks his friend is just silly.

Due to this animation the intonation seems to be the result of McBain trying to convince *himself* that his partner is going to pull through, as if McBain is in complete denial about the whole thing and he doesn't snap out of it until his partner actually dies, moment when McBain jumps from denial to anger in seconds passing briefly through depression

I also love the details, like how Demo pulls out a picture of miss pauling, which in my brain, connected scout’s blatant mag dumping was out of pure anger more than following any mission.
