Just come across these on eBay whilst scrolling through an endless list of 3D printed versions people are asking 200 notes and upwards for. Minor point to note on the Harkinen (think that’s how you spell it)….ornithopter; The cockpit canopy is rounded in the movie. With bubble windows. That’s the only detail they have got wrong from the film.

Good catch with the Harkonnen ornithopter canopy. These are ok as very small kits and I'm sure there are plenty of other accuracy issues, but for their size they're good enough for me. Thankfully, some photos have surfaced online of a larger 1/72 scale Atreides ornithopter coming from Meng soon, taken at a model show in China. Hopefully there are more kits to come

Very Bandai-esque but nowhere near the quality. Bad fit in places, plastic is soft and details are not even close to Bandai. Identical stands however.

I haven't taken any of the parts off their sprues, so can't comment on how well they fit. The details are quite basic and could be better, but what's there is pretty close to what you see on-screen as far as I can tell. At this scale, I'm not too bothered about that. My biggest disappointment is the ornithopter canopies being solid rather than having tinted clear window inserts

One small issue with the audio: Only the left channel has sound, the right one is silent. A bit weird when listening with headphones.

That's odd, thanks for letting me know. The video was rendered in mono, so should be straight down the middle

@@MotionPictureMiniatures No worries. I noticed after commenting that the outro music was fine, it’s just the voice track that was unbalanced.

@@germansnowman I've gone through the video here, and through the un-rendered edit in Resolve, and both channels are working as far as I can hear. Strange. Are the other videos on my channel the same for you?

@@MotionPictureMiniatures Thanks for checking. It is still the same with this video, but the others seem fine (I checked the Batman one). It may be because I am on an older iPad with an outdated KZbin app, who knows.
