Thanks Mohamad. With so many kit choices these days sometimes it's hard to decide which to buy. Hopefully this helps to cut through some of the clutter so people can make an informed decision before spending their hard-earned money. Good luck to you on your projects and thanks for visiting!

Hi Tom! Are you going to build it? Seems a great kit
@stevieRay32112 жыл бұрын
Hi Staredsky! Yes this project will follow the usual routine, unbox, build, and paint. The Whippet is first up since it badly needs paint but then the mighty tank destroyer will get the business. All the best to you my friend and thank you for the note!

Dear Tomas: new subscriber and modeler here. What’s your advice on keeping track of the different variants for models such as this? I discovered I made a mistake right off the bat. It’s frustrating. Dan

Hey Dan. Not sure if you mean the variants within this kit, or for the Jagdpanther in general. For the later, the web is a good start, Tank Encyclopedia is a good source: tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/nazi_germany/jagdpanther.php In the kit, you have to follow the numbers in the steps; the variants, and their respective numbers, are identified on page 4, just above the first step in the build. Then throughout the build look for the parts that match the variant number. I don't usually get too hung up on precise variant markers, since war time production was sometimes chaotic, plus production lines overlapped so parts that identify the variants often got mixed up. At times, variants only differed internally so they're hard to tell apart anyway. If you're just starting out, have fun with it and don't ulcerate if you're not accurate down to every nut and bolt.

@@stevieRay3211 thanks so much for the thoughtful reply and assistance. Puts my mind at ease. I meant the kit variants and you’ve answered my question. The 1/35 Meng kit has four variants and is complicated. But now I know how to follow the number. Thanks much!

Individual guide teeth on tracks. No way. Shows that the people at Meng never built a kit in their life's.

LOL Brian. It's not for everyone that's for sure. One can always buy replacement tracks. I fell on my sword for the viewers on this episode and actually build all of them. Yeah, I'm nuts but I had to do it to embrace the horror. And two people will probably watch the episode to boot!
