MENG TS-009 1/35 French Super Heavy Tank Char 2C Build Guidance Video

This video is presented by the Spanish modeler Jose Moral who chooses the first paint scheme: No. 93 “Alsace” of 51st BCC in France. There are not too many parts in this kit, so it’s easy and fast to build. Jose Moral emphasizes the painting and weathering of this tank. He explains techniques of making rust stains, water marks and dust. Finally, a worn, dusty and rusty Char 2C is finished. We want to express our gratitude to Warfare in Scale team including modeler Jose Moral for their hard work.

The dust/sand acrylic paint is a nice way to hide overspray and make the cammo blend in more uniform to the overall surface. Very nice I want to build this kit myself if its not to many fiddly pe parts.

JVE customs Veenendaal it was designed in 1918 and was supposed to be used in the 1919 spring offensive, which of course never happened. The handful of char 2Cs made were used in propaganda films in the 1930's and never officially saw service. Check your facts before correcting people.

Marking the camo patterns with dark felt is okay but better to draw the lines using a brush and the same paint that's used for the final coat. That way you don't have to worry about covering the dark felt pen lines.

To work with AV airbrush colors is very easy. Pressure no more than 2 bar., 1,5 bar. it´s ok. Needle 0,2 to 0,4 (depending on surfaces to work). Anyway, I recommend you to dilute painting a bit if you will work with low pressure. You will achieve nice results if you practice with the airbrush trigger. Good luck! Jose.

Dont wanna be a prick here but theres flash on the roadwheels, fingerprints on the hull, raised edges from using a posca marker (that just flabbergasted me.. ) the PE is all fucked up from an overdose of primer, theres drips.... Dont get me wrong, I do like the endresult alot, its beautifull... but what if your build guidance would actually show a proper way to build models, wouldnt that be better?

I have a spraybooth and been spraying inside fr 30+ yrs, that isnt a problem. WITHOUT a spraybooth is indeed just asking for trouble.

Its just not supposed to be good for your health to be breathing in all the paint fumes. So usually its recommended to either spray outside or in a spray booth

one of its failed features is that big superstructure at the back. it hampered the turrets ability to aim at targets at the rear.

10:27 The builder is a hapless, crazy wild man 🤪; on camera no less! He paints his hand *and the entire room* in primer -- everything you should not do. Overspray goes everywhere and the droplets settle across vast distances as a gray dust that is permanent. FYI. Not the most fastidious builder I have seen -- some mistakes were made...

Вот только понимать бы еще какими конкретно (подчеркну специально - КОНКРЕТНО, фирма, вид, номер) красками, пигментами, фильтрами, смывками, и наверняка, расстворителями это все делается... Зачем они снимаю такие ролики, если все равно до конца не рассказывают всей технологии, а главное почему? Не понятно.
