Thanks for sharing a more medium length look, which I think suits you much better. That's actually close to how I have my hair for the past 20 years... but I seem to lack the products to really get the right control. So far it's been foam and at the end of the day it all falls down, unless I use excessive amounts of foam. I too have a lot of hair and always thin it out. Then the sticky gum like gel/cream/pomade's I have tried in the beginning and didn't like. Aperently the last years there have been better solutions that I now finally will try again. I really hope I can get a look without it being sticky and still have hold and not being a total wet look.

Get it wet, brush it straight back and let it naturally dry, it should take its natural direction if you don't intefere with it too much. Keep in mind though that this works for me and might not work for your, but it's worth that try. 👍👍

Mine has been doing that too since I’m growing mine out. I have a solution but I know it’s definitely not for everyone, but I get my hair damp and then apply my product. I then comb it into place with my brush, and theeeen I put on a hat. I put on a hat that does backwards just because it’s easier to put on and off for me. But once my hair has almost dried, I’ll take it off and then there are little to no waves left.

When I blow dry my hair ends curl up. I have to leave my hair damp because if I dry to blow dry it to dry my hair gets super burnt and frizzy looking. Anyone have tips? My hair is naturally dry and extremely wavy. I put coconut oil spray and a "silk" oil product

Don't blow dry it, simply comb it into place. Or use cold air which although takes longer, helps to control the frizz.
