Hi Ashley many thanks for this helpful video. I absolutely love most (in fact all) of your videos. I just have one very important question - your videos are full of very fashionable chinos, which I love. Could you please recommend best brand of chinos? I have few chinos from Target and Banana Republic, but the quality of those are extremely poor. I don’t care about price, just want 2 or 3 great quality chinos. Thank you so much for your help😊

The problem with chinos is the same problem you get with t-shirts, wash them a couple of times and they fade like crazy. If you want good ones, you can’t go wrong with Ralph Lauren, you can just go to Ralph Lauren and it’s pretty much the clothes that Ashley recommends.

To be honest this are like 2015 Fashion vibes. It's great tips. But they are too conservative, they play a bit too safe. Depending on the person sure. But 2023 we are living a full blown 80's and 90's revival with strong bold colors and patterns. And at least in some small accessory or the shoes, there should be this. Otherwise, today this is a washout plain dull boring look.

I don’t agree on a number of points. I live in Texas and go country dancing and wear boot cut jeans and cowboy boot, which you also may not like but when you go to a country they are what to wear. I also disagree with respect to horsebit loafer. They are a classic and look much better then trainers.

I’ve come to realize that this channel isn’t really about teaching the average man how to be more fashionable, but more about how to not dress. All of the advice is very safe and simple. Even the things I disagree with I can see why she says those things. Like white socks or boot cut jeans. If you can’t make those items work you will look foolish and most men in fact can’t make them work. This channel isn’t for me but for the guys that just want clean, easy, and inoffensive fashion advice…this is a good place to start. She won’t have out there looking stupid. You really can’t go wrong with this channel. Unless you take her address on chukka boots…which are hideous.

A professional working stylist makes a 100% free incredibly informative video, gives a 100% free list of recommendations in the enclosed link (as always) for people on a budget, and for a nominal fee can give more professional recommendations if you want to deep dive in the expensive designer world. If you can afford designer clothes in this economy, you can support all her hard work and keep her costly business running (video filming and editing, website programming/maintenance, etc, aren't free).
