I grew up poor and thrift shopping was the only way to get "new clothes" for the school year. Now it's ruined by rich kids and resellers who caused thrift shops like Goodwill to jack up their prices.

Honestly I think the look of vintage, blue collar mixed with your own personal style is better, street wear is nice but kind of overplayed with the brands, vintage and blue collar plays with looks and brands that’ll last you for longer and look better with age! You gotta do more on denim and more brands you recommend like ones with straight leg classic fit, slim cuts, and for athletic or heavy body builds

MOD/Rude Boy Ivy League look for me, but you have to be quite slim to pull this look off. Fred Perry shirts and Polos, Ben Sherman button downs, Chinos, Levi 501 Selvedge jeans, Baracuta Harringtons, Levi Sta Prest trousers, GH Bass Weejun loafers. There are now loads are brands that do fabulous button down oxfords, spear point collars, harringtons, it's a timeless look if done right.
