What an absolute monster this MK1 Audi TT Turbo is. It is the 237BHP Special Edition model called the GMBH where there was only a very limited amount made.
After owning the car for many years and spending a ton of money on the TT, he has managed to near enough double the power from standard to munch up and spit out Audi R8s for fun!!

I had a Mk1 that I never should have bought. When I was looking I found one that looked almost stock in lovely condition, but what the guy did to it had it Dyno at 399bhp. It came with a beautiful folder of its life and I had to have it. I daily’d it for a year and then sold it to someone who worked for the Audi race team. No regrets owning it. Always got positive comments and was rapid.

My Mk1 TT with the old engine i had made 380whp on all four! And 440 at crank with race fuel. 200kg weight reduction, it was brutal. That little car punched away from a lot of high powered cars, and one race i really cant forget was a drag from 110 km/h to 270 km/h against an Audi RS6 V10 BiTurbo stg 2, thats 1900kg plus 2 people in it and 700hp. We were side by side all the way.. The owner of the RS6 was stunned and could not believe it when we stopped for a chat. So YES these small cars with that engine is a force to be recon with! Bought a Mk1 3.2 v6 (03) today! Driven it 50 miles so far and it is screamingly good. It's, essentially, a Golf MkIV R32 but in a frame/body designed by a (bauhaus-tic) minimalist artist/artisan genius.

Ive had the pleasure of riding in the passenger seat of Paul's car a couple of times and the acceleration is truly breathtaking. The way it goes around and exits a roundabout is something else. Zero body roll and instant power. I am currently thumbing through the receipts and history of the car for the "deep dive build" on my channel. Great to see it on Saturday once more with such a knowledgable and friendly owner. Great review lads.

Im normally not a huge fan of full black but gonna be honest the TT pulls it off quite nicely especially that interior beautifully done and that power is insane love to see this in the dry !

It is manual it's a CAE shifter which will fit any MK1 TT or an A3 But the whole car is built engine gearbox clutch suspension exhaust all built
