Hi Aly, I am not completely up to date on the latest developments but I have never seen you happier than when travelling. Not even expensive and super far trips but just a weekend break somewhere nice with Scott would probably lift your spirits again. I hope you will feel better soon.

Thank you so much for this video. I have been feeling the same for a while now. It's nice to know that there are other people struggling as well (I know this sounds bad, but I hope you understand). You also have put the feelings into words. And the tips you gave, like the colour cordinated calendar are really helpful. I might try that for myself as well. I know it's always easier to say than to do : but don't question yourself. Don't doubt yourself. You're worthy, you're amazing and you give awesome content. Thank you for everything.

Thank you for sharing and updating us with how you’re doing xx I like when you talk so openly about struggling with anxiety and mental health. I think you help us more than you know. Lots of love to you and Scott xx

As a 55 year old chap I have suffered with what you might call clinical depression since i was about 17. I have had two nervous breakdowns which i had to drag myself out of as i went down the anti-depressant route and and that shit didn't work for me. I found certain things made it worse. Coffee used to drive me into massive anxiety attacks and would really freak me out to the stage where i couldn't physically handle being round anyone. I cut it out and over several weeks found that the anxiety subsided to manageable levels (the job i was in didn't help either). I also found that there were certain triggers to the trip down the rabbit hole which i now tend to avoid. It is never really under control it's always bubbling under the surface and every so now and again the bastard sneaks to the surface and i go on a black out but i tend to drag myself out of it by just getting away from people. I also find that social media and the internet is a massive hindrance to anyone with mental health and every so now and again when i can feel it getting too much i get off for a few weeks to recharge my batteries. I find the biggest problem is trying to explain to people who have never had mental health problems exactly why it happens and what it's like. you never get rid of it it's always there ready to bit your arse if you let the guard down so I am very empathetic of your situation, I know where your head is at but I will say find the triggers and learn to work round them, the world gets to be a heavy place at times. take care of yourself lots of love xxxx

Thank you for sharing :) I don't know about other people but I love watching the really mundane/messy vlogs because it feels like a catch up with a friend rather than a production on tv if that makes sense. I know that some youtubers when editing might think who would actually watch this? It is me I would watch this XD So if you have any doubts on videos tell them to get lost! The colour calendar sounds like such a good idea! Also games? If you feel comfy sharing I and maybe others would love a video about what games you're into at the moment

I love your videos. Your personality is so infectious, a pure pleasure to watch. I’ve taken a mental health break from certain friends. They drain me sometimes. I found I really enjoy my own company so I went on a few self full dates.

Thank you for doing this viedo. I suffer from anxiety and depression and i got injured at my last job and been dealing with a back injury since September 2020 been in pain ever since. I just made a big decision of going back to school and just got to become a graduate assistant and just got into the teaching graduate program. The next two years will be super stressful because I have a family and the job pays very little but will get my masters for free so that is a plus. But I am worried with the back injury having another epidural shot just had major back surgery in August 2021 and my whole right side of my body is weak and can barley walk so I hope this shot works so I can work because I start on Wednesday June 1st. So need lots of thoughts on making it all work out. Love you channel keep up the great work.

Hi Aly. I’m so proud of you for being so honest about your mental health and how crippling it can be. Sadly, mine has deteriorated badly. I’m in a very bad place right now. This video helped me as I know I’m not insane, just struggling. Thank you.

Glad your doing better. Honestly you post what, when you want. You could post a 2 minute video reading off a grocery list and I'd watch it.

Have you dyed your hair Aly? I’ve never seen it looking so brown! (Or is that just the lack of sunshine, like me you change colour haha).

Why would you drink coffee if you are so naturally manic? You said yourself you were calm in the morning before your cup of coffee. All the best.

you are not alone, and I'm so happy that you are taking the time to work on what you need to do to get yourself back in the right headspace. I won't say it will get better because you already know it's a rollercoaster but I will remind you that you're not alone on the ride.
