The mind is known to create stories from our experiences that may not always be rooted in truth. From there, reactive and judgmental thoughts easily arise. But if we label it for exactly what it is-nothing more, nothing less-we often find it’s a bit more manageable than it initially seemed. Mental noting, or mental labeling, is different from normal thoughts; it’s an intentional practice to help you remain calm and in control in difficult situations.
Join Cory Muscara as he shares the power of mental noting and how connecting to the direct experience exactly as it is can help you settle your mind and relax in the moment.
