@Asha Phillip (edit) thank you so much for sharing your pain and words of encouragement. Though not an athlete, this IS exactly the words I needed this very moment of my life. As you said in closing this video, this is “not just athletics, that’s life.” I so much appreciate you. Blessings. Thanks BBC for creating and sharing this content.

Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity or stress. It’s about being able to adapt to change and overcome challenges. Resilience is an important trait because it allows you to cope with difficulties and setbacks, maintain a positive outlook, and continue moving forward even when things are tough. Some people are naturally more resilient than others, but it’s also a skill that can be developed through practice and perseverance. You always bounce back to other places!

Hi! What method are you using? You're a smart girl... if you feel too "soft", you can train with the right will. But please forget the world, just do it for yourself. Don't worry, you won't become selfish... 🌱

I'm not a part of the Joseph-Campbell-Hero-with-a-Thousand-Faces idealism and I'm not apologizing for it. I'm not a part of the Bill-Moyers-Power-of-Myth fanaticism and I'm not apologizing for it. I'm not a part of the Robert-Bly-Iron-John grandiosity and I'm not apologizing for it. I'm not a hero and I'm not apologizing for it. I'm not here to be heroic, do heroic, say heroic, or have heroic. I'm not a part of greatness culture and I'm not apologizing for it. I'm not great and I'm not apologizing for it. I'm not here to be great, do have, say great, or have great. Stop pressuring me. Stop pushing me. Stop pushing me off of cliffs to make me fly. I won't fly. I can't fly. I don't even want to fly. Being a person who goes about his day and lives his ordinary life is plenty.

Hi. 🙂 Please, let us pray together. Dear God who art in heaven hallow be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, in Jesus Christ's name we pray amen. ❤
