I feel Mr. Hall is not for the very young either. Occult knowledge drips slowly as we become ripe for it, in phases. I believe it has to do with first learning the material part of life to then move on to deeper meanings, that only make sense as we grow older. Not to say there aren't old souls in young bodies ready for Hall in their 20's or 30's, but it's not the norm. Kabalah for example, is only taught tradionally inside the Jewish faith until after 40.

The people you are referring to are full of ego. Ego is a subset of fear. The aberrant, selfish behavior of such individuals is caused by a conglomerate of suppressed, hidden fears. But even they can eventually become love -- it just takes many lives as a human being and a lot of effort and learning.

Psychopaths and narcissists constantly go against their own intuition and the ethics of their own spiritual body. So why do they almost never get sick, and why does nothing bad ever happen to them? I know this because there are 3 of them in my family and they seem to be charmed with good luck wherever they go and whatever they do, and what they do is constantly try to control and manipulate other people. Why do psychopaths never get bad karma even though they are the most evil ones among us??
