This vision of Hermes as been the magnum opus of spiritual revelation for me at this current point. It makes sense of so many questions I've struggled with my whole life and has become the main column of my own faith in purpose. I just wish that more people could understand it in todays world, though I know they eventually will. No telling how many lives I lived before excepting this and even then this life and others is and will be full of challenges. For still I know so little, but now I know that there is a road to travel. It is simultaneously humbling and uplifting all at once. Thank you Manly P Hall for sowing the seeds of reason for all of us. And best wishes to all of you on your own journeys. May they be filled with as much light as possible.

“Out From the Heart” by James Allen will teach you the functional mechanics to align with and therefore meet the dragon. It’s much less esoteric. It’s something to really bite into. After several times listening to the audiobook I mentioned above, I really began changing my behavior and had a traumatic run in with God that ended me up on the floor in fear. God is a consuming fire. And in Him there is mercy but there is also severity and the looming of judgement. Are we the multi-verse of God trying to come back together as one in the singularity? I've seen some curious comments written like "Jesus loves you God". I read someone's theory that we all have a part of God within each of us and that God splits himself up equally in each of us with us having amnesia and that is the game he is playing through us. That's why we have a drive to find things. The need to get back to source to reunite as one both within and without, as above, so below. This is a mind blowing trip and I'm not even on any drugs for it. I wish I could have picked his mind or someone as knowledgeable as him. When it happened to me 7 years ago I was seeing entities after I saw the spiral in my mind as though my mind was projected into the heavens. It was so scary at first but now it's like an obsession because it all seems to make sense. I never was a stupid kid in school but I was very emotional and got into trouble a lot in life but I'm still here. I guess I had different lessons to learn in this life still. School Just seemed too strict for me but all I did was try to question my teachers. I saw early on that a lot of them were crazy. Alcoholic priests beating and abusing kids, teachers yelling at us telling us we would never amount to anything and physical ed teachers showing us videos of athletes injecting hormones to become the opposite sex so I had to run and run I did. I felt lost through life as I hung around the streets but found some guardian angels among that group who helped me survive some of who are no longer alive. I wouldn't be here had it not been for them and I miss and think about them everyday. I always had people who were in trouble or needed help knocking on my door and I would open my door to them and help them. I guess I was entertaining angels in unawares. I've had a near death experience when I was 15, felt a presence behind me and felt a hand grab my right shoulder at 13 when there was no one there. I've crazy experiences in life but when I tried to tell others they said I was crazy and wanted to put me on drugs and at such a young age I believed them and started self medicating because I believed I was crazy. I felt so alone through life and suffered a lot of physical damage in my quest. I see this split between the sciences and religion when to me they are both explaning the same thing just in different ways. Wow! What a journey!

It's an old tape recording in an echoing lecture room, people coughing and stuff in the back, old technology. It sounds like they have windows open and sometimes a car goes by on a nearby highway and aircraft fly overhead. He wasn't close enough to the mic. Someone tried to fix it before posting by running it through some electronic equalization. That also creates strange, almost underwater sounding artifacts. The audio is strong though so is easy to pick his message out of the background noise. And Blah, blah, blah

Ok, I am going to try once again to listen after reading the comments but he talks so slowly and pompously without making a point that most points he does make are pretty anticlimactic... and every single talk is 2 friggin hours. Once or twice listening for the full 2 hours without hearing anything especially new and insightful and I was like “I’m out”. But then, I actually taught Jordan Peterson some things and have revolutionary ideas about symbols and metaphor to begin with. So I am trying to be objective. So I am listening now. My comments to follow... Ok, so that was the best talk I have heard so far. Some of the things he said are almost the same word for word what I used to write 30 years ago-like “one foot on earth and one in the ocean” which I said as “one foot on earth and one foot in heaven”. But he messed up on the task and levels stuff. Some of the other things about division of personalities and unity, and also the nature of the works of god. It’s funny but the closer someone gets the more critical I get-because it matters more. But in general a lot of this is accurate and will not lead you astray. When he speaks of the perfect reflection of the unity of god is what made me like this most of all. That is the key to everything. He doesn’t go far enough there. Also he needs to delineate and define the idea of reason and talk about meaning more. There is no question of god to me. Just as there is no question of gravity given our daily experience of it. He doesn’t know the key to the meaning of the speech of god. Gets caught by the eddies and expansions of pure appearance by reason alone. Meaning is a lawful thing-with echoes and regularities that are clear in their cross-referenced and echoing patterns. To see consciously the hand of god in history in specific ways. In the natural laws too- not in their intricacies and mechanics, but in their meaning. Their allegorical patterns. The universe is obviously a literary work. We tend to think of things humans do as specific causal things but everything is also symbolic. Like a dream with archetypal symbols. Science provides the correct grammar and vocabulary so we do not have to go to war over meanings anymore. Similar to the accepted grammar and vocabulary of any language-but especially gods language upon which our survival depends. As a tangible example, your eye is an organ, completely functional, but as long as you think from and as only yourself, you will not see the cosmic patterns and literary devices it represents. It’s not just that the harmonious complexity of the eye points to a creator, which can obviously be explained easily by evolutionary theory alone, but that it has a symbolic meaning and message in the context of reality which subconsciously affects people but which is knowable consciously as well. It’s just that humans couldn’t see it. Don’t expect it. They are too busy planning their own lives, being separated, reaching their selfish intentional goals mostly propelled by deep un-acknowledged fears and conflicts. Interpretation can exist on many levels but there is a higher more unified level always. Meaning is built like this, when you withhold judgment and remain objective: 1 letter 1 word 1 sentence 1 paragraph 1 chapter 1 story 1 era of stories 1 species 1 world 1 universe 1 being or consciousness You can interchange each of these with either substances in the world or physical universe and it’s not a coincidence that they are analogous. The universe is a teaching machine. If we are not willing to let go, then we will only function and not be taught. We will learn to survive rather than survive to learn. Every meaning is distilled from the transient features of things. And a meaning can be conveyed in multiple languages from multiple angles. Science distilled the eternal from fleeting events and we are taught with resulting technology the power of that. But if you focus on that power, seek it alone, you miss the meaning of the lesson in it about the nature of life and the universe. The eternal is reflected in the universe piecemeal. By science the sparks are United. By mind the light of the word.

Ancient Persians used to call Hermes; Ahura Mazda. This is a lost knowledge even within Persians as their past culture was erased by Alexander and Arab invasions. but is some Farsi dictionaries they still translate Hermes the greek god to Ahura Mazda. Ahura Mazda in farsi has another name which is Hurmoz and apparently hermes is the westernized version of Hurmoz

@@rehm402 I have written a longer version of above comment under more Hermes and Thoth videos. It was a big discovery for me to realise, Hermes/Thoth/ Hermes Trismegistus in Greece, Egypt and Europe are same as Enoch, Edris and Hormuz in the East. It might be unprovable but thats my research as a non expert. Since I don’t have a big channel with thousands of viewers, I thought I’d share my findings as comment under related videos incase it would be interesting for someone else.
