Mentorens rite

Våren 2015 begynte jeg på et stort maleri av telemarksforfatteren Hans Herbjørnsrud. Jeg filmet ham på gården hans og i atrelieret mitt på Notodden under innsamlingen av referanser til maleriet - 1. august 2015 begynte jeg på arbeidet med maleriet og her er reultatet. Maleriet, (olje på lerret 200x350 cm.) som jeg har kalt "Mentorens rite" vises for første gang i Galleri Gulden kunstverk på Steinberg lørdag 10. oktober 2015..

What is interesting to me is He uses flat brushes all the time. I haven't seen him using round brushes during painting.

And never uses a painting knife, linseed oil or turpentine. Pure paint straight from the tube.
