Protip anyone wanting relics I got all my atmas and my crystals from hw zones the last event they had it's a great time because the fates are easier to farm when you have lots of people involved. Just remember when farming atmas that you have an atma weapon equipped and also you can stack all of them so you don't have to farm on each atma weapon themselves unless you want to I farmed out 14 each on my drg so def take multiple advantages of the event.

That's why I'm half-wondering if some people would be willing to play "taxi" for low levels during the event. A lot of us have 4-seat flying cars now after all... so some groups go cycling through the lower level FATEs with newer players in tow, and as they inevitably level up, start rotating into the gradually higher zones thus freeing back up the lower zones again for the next batch. Could make a whole community event out of it, and if folks want to do ARR relic weapon stuff along the way... that's fine too!

Exactly what I was thinking! Mentioned it in my comment as well. I'd imagine they just rip the bandage with EW & DT weapons and add the special mount after those 4. That's what I'd do. And if they release it post-DT, it could help with any period that is suffering from content drought. :)

Re: missing weapons. If I was CBU3, I'd wait for post-Dawntrail blues and bring back Yokai Watch then with the new weapons. From what I understand, they released it originally with 13 (upon collecting 13, you get a special mount)... and then 17 (upon collecting 17, you get a special mount). Makes sense, then, that they'd wait to release 4 new weapons in one go with another special mount. I'd do it during post-Dawntrail patches during a potential "content drought". Also, if they went for super special weapons for BLU and Beastmaster, it could add that level of grind that certain people want to see. And maybe open certain upper level areas that don't get visited a lot (like SB zones or ShB zones) to encourage higher level players to farm there. Maybe add an RNG thing where you might be blessed with an odd extra medal here or there if you farm in those zones. This might encourage upper level players to hang out in those zones. :)

It gets easier the more you complete. I am 5 zeta deep and at this point the longest part is just grinding out tam Tara deepcroft unsync’d. Well, and leveling classes to 50 to start each one. Whm, drg, Brd, sch, and sum are done for me. The next up is mnk and then pld. I have all the materials for them all, so it’s just a matter of running books and tam Tara.

My guess is, because of how close this is to new expac, this is going to be one of those times it comes back actually REALLY QUICK and instead of getting just 2 new weapons we'll get 4. So not just Sage and Reaper, we'll get Sage, Reaper, Pictomancer, and Viper.

@@devastatorprime2423 This event has been around at least 3 or 4x previously. Each time it comes around, more weapons are added for the new jobs. For reasons outside my knowledge, they have opted to skip the new weapons this go around (Sage/Reaper).

Kind of funny how these are more of a grind that the Manderville weapons. I'm expecting no one to think about newer players and just go around and terrorize ARR zones with BLU, making this impossible for them.

Can always join a party in PF or invite sprouts so they get full credit. If I recall correctly, it's no different than any other rare fate grind. Rather than not use BLU, it may be wiser to take advantage of your local BLU in the party finder, or if you are a BLU put up that party finder to help those new players get these fates done!

I double-checked and there is a new reward... but it's just a framer kit for portraits. Very underwhelming. I hope they work with Level-5 to add in new Yo-Kai for Reaper, Sage, Viper and Pictomancer. (In hindsight I realized that my plan to have the new Yo-Kai weapon medal be farmed in Shadowbringers FATEs was a bad idea as all expansions after Stormblood changed to Shared FATEs which give bi-color gemstones, and adding the Yo-Kai event to those FATEs would probably screw up the reward system super badly. :()

I respect that we're smack in the middle of pre-expac crunch for the dev team, especially for the poor souls who have to sift through benchmark feedback, but I really would've rather they not re-run it at all if they couldn't add weapons and minions to the roster. Guess that's more time for "Unicorn Overlord" and alt's MSQ progression but I'm kind of sad I won't get to be in the FATE swarm this time around, that's a special sort of chaos you only get once or twice an expac.

Every other rerun they add items so my guess if rerun during DW new job weapons with newer jobs. So example SB didnt get RDM and SAM for its rerun. SHB rerun got rdm, sam, gnb and dnc also mount. The grind was hellish in the past. I only need the farmer kits. Thank the twelves. PSA hold on to your coins if you dont complete it, the coins carry over for reruns.

depends on if you have BLU leveled and join FATE party finders, you'll get it a lot faster doing that, but you should have plenty of time if you keep at it

Another event that is not really worth doing for veteran players? Cmon square, either add legitimate new rewards for veterans (portrait frames are not worth an event for) or stop doing reruns. Telling the majority of players that you really don’t care about them is not a good look square.

FATEs scale depending on how many people are in the zone, if you're in a party and hitting mobs, you'll get credit even without BLU. More people means more mobs to kill, more items to collect and turn in, more HP on boss monsters, etc. but yes, generally BLUs will be absolutely nuking everything they can. Every time there's a FATE grind where BLU's in the available level range there'll be BLUs, that's part of the incentive to work on BLU for a lot of people.

@@SorasShadow1 The biggest probles are boss fates which do not resist instant kill bluemage abilities and most ARR fates do not resist them. I remember helping someone get fate achievement when bluemage was new and they did not get credit when I used tail screw.

creature collector/monster tamer game focused on Japanese mythology and beings called yokai, largely things like urban legends and cryptids, I played the original back in the day and it was a solid experience as a Pokemon fan and I quite love all my little yokai minions running around in my Island Sanctuary. I've heard that the anime is really fun, too, but definitely targeted towards very young audiences.
