The black label is basically a sub label of yg but with only soloists like Somi, this is the first actual group of the black label

@@Hululedak true they operate on their own means as a label but at the end of the day it still belongs to yg, the building itself is own by yg. As stock teddy owns majority share and yg entertainment owns part of it so there is a reason its still call a subsidy of yg for a reason

The blacklabel is a sub label under yg their ceo is teddy who is a yg producer. There were only soloists under the blacklabel like somi taeyang(from bigbang) and rose(from blackpink) meovv is their first group. With rose and taeyang they are only under the blacklabel when they do solo stuff while blackpink and bigbang group activities are managed by yg, when group members do a lot of solo stuff but are still groupmembers they often go to another label who manages their solo stuff, like taemin he is still under sm when he is doing group activities but under another label when he is doing solo stuff, hope this helps❤

Fun fact: Gawon, the second to sing and the first to rap (the one on the motorcycle) was a YG trainee, she trained with Babymonster. and from what we have heard she sings incredible and she has that energy

Teddy Park, the Black Label CEO is Black Pink's primary producer. Meovv and Baby Monster are essentially cousin groups. It is likely that they all trained together to some extent.

Meovv = meow on their name. If you connect two v. The black label first girl group. Subsidy agency of the parent company yg entertainment so they family with blackpink, 2ne1 , baby monster etcc. They speak multiple languages: japanese, korean, english and 1 of them can speak spanish. Jennie did praise ella 6 years ago when she was 10! And here we are today! Their live stage meow NOP stage dance performances is a lot better!

Thank you for a great reaction. MEOVV stands for My Eyes Open Wide and is produced by Blackpink's producer Teddy who left YG with his own as CEO for The Black Label although 20% is said to be owned by YG. MEOVV's girl group very 1st pick was Ella McKenzie Gross who was called Little Jenny by Jenny herself and Blinks when Ella - age 15 was 10 years old taking pictures of Blackpink. Her resemblance to Jenny made her known as Little Jenny to many. Ella was followed by Sooin age 19, Gawon age 19, Anna - age 19, and Narin age 17. There were Introduction Videos made for all 5 of these girls prior to their debut a few weeks ago. They are very talented and are Teddy's First Girl Group for his new label. Jisoo tweeted support for Ella a few weeks ago on MEOVV's debut and Baby Monster fans felt betrayed by Jisoo although Ella was already known and loved by Blackpink over 5 years ago.
