A truly unique visual experience at the end, but 80% of the the movie consisted of a bunch of americans talking about what a special thing they did and how special and unique their journey was getting there. It is a real pain that they are not more humble about what was basically them piling up a pile of rubbish for meow wolf 1. Go into any alternative house in Berlin and you find the same ... we just don’t have our head up our own ass as much!

As a gay man who grew up connected to the downtown art and alt-music scenes of NYC in the 80's and 90's - I can see your point... But honestly - ANY inspiring story - particularly from people in "middle-america" theses days(!) is NICE and REFRESHING to see. Not guns, or extremist politics, not horror-drug stories and hateful divisive BS for a damn change. (REALLY!) Our country (ALL countries), media, and YOUTH need more of THIS. Just my opinion.
