Hello, I'm ready to continue explaining the moments from episode 3 (No spoilers). 1) Regarding civilian devil hunters, these are hunters who work for themselves and who take orders to eliminate devils, something like mercenaries. 2) The Soviet Union was mentioned in this episode, and you might have a question: when do the events of Chainsaw Man take place? Well, this is not a spoiler, so I will say that the events take place in 1996-1997. 3) And so now you know that devils are the embodiment of human fears of this or that concept, and the more people fear this or that concept, the stronger the devil embodying this concept. But I also want to add that devils also have abilities that are somehow connected with their concepts or with human ideas about their concepts. A great example is the Bat Devil and his "Ultra Sound Wave" ability, this ability is related to the fact that real bats use ultra sound to navigate in space and to find prey.
