For balushahi dough
2 cups all-purpose flour - 250 grams
1 tabsp Butter( optional)
¼ cup Ghee (60 grams, in a semi-solid state)
¼ cup yogurt (60 grams)
6-8 tablespoons cold water for kneading or as required
1 pinch salt
1 pinch baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
For sugar syrup
1 cup sugar - 200 grams
½ cup water
½ teaspoon cardamom powder
10 saffron strands
A tiny lemon wedge to prevent crystallisation.
oil or ghee for deep frying, as required
For garnish
1 to 2 tablespoons chopped almonds or preferred nuts

2 chicken breast boiled & shredded
2 tabsp oil
1 medium onion fried
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp salt or as desired
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
2-3 red tomatoes
1/4 cup yogurt
2 eggs optional
To garnish :
Fresh Coriander , green chillies and lemon juice
