On this cast, there is very little representation from “the world” and most of this cast has already done some variation of All Stars before, several of them pretty recently. Unfortunately the others who were meant to be on from the international franchises weren’t able to get their Canadian work visas. These Visas are notoriously hard to get if you’re from any other country but the US and UK, even France due to the high French Canadian demographic in, well, Canada, especially compared to UK work visas. So it’s not really the casting departments fault sadly. There were so many people who are believed to have dropped due to the difficulty including Vinas and Bernie from Phillipines, Aquarela from Brazil, Anne Mae from Thailand and allegedly so many more (hence why the cast rumours had so many queens)

VS The World is such a stretch. The Philippines, Down Under, Holland, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, and even Queen of the Universe have so many queens to pick from. I love seeing people back 3+ times when it's been a while, but call it Canada vs US & UK ft. La Kahena because as much as I love the US franchise it's giving the finale will be Canada vs the US without even thinking about it. Maybe it is harder to get queens from around the world for this particular show, and as it stands now I still will be watching because I love the show, but will have the thought of its just Canada vs 2% of the world.

Unpopular opinion, I don’t dislike that we get All Stars so frequently. I don’t need big names to compete, any girl that enters that Werqroom is an All Star in my eyes (unless they get disquilified and edited out of the show). I also don’t care if they bring girls back a third or a fourth time tbh cause I just want to see them on my TV again. I definitely agree that there could be more time inbetween some girls coming back like, I don’t really get why Eureka is back again so soon and I don’t really care to watch an entire season of her again tbh, and I also agree that more one-off girls should get their All Stars opportunity. But am I excited to see Alexis Mateo and Kennedy Davenport on my TV screen again? Absolutely. Imo the problem with All Stars has never been with the casting or its frequency, it’s always been with production and the dumb decisions they make.

It's not just the lack of geographic diversity that bugs me (people have mentioned how hard it is to get Canadian work visas), it's the fact that for the majority of the cast this will be their third or fourth time back. Two of them even competed in a prior VTW season. There's SO MANY talented queens who haven't even gotten a second chance but they keep bringing back the same people. I'm excited to see Kennedy again, but for everyone else it seems like they competed on a different AS/VTW too recently.

I really don't mind the CVTW cast. I'm actually pretty excited to see some of the girls that are cast in the season. But i really don't care for the promo theme. That theme with the color pallet they gave them is really hard to make look more fashionable, and almost all of the promo looks just looked cheap and very Party City. If they were going to go with the wrestling theme, they should have chosen a different color pallet, or let the girls choose their own colors completely. The super bright neon colors just don't work for it.

I'm fine with a queen coming back for a third chance, but I feel that a fourth is pushing it. Maybe replace Eureka and Alexis with people in similar veins with more to prove (need to finish up their 'story'), a good two could be maybe....Akeria and Thorgy. One thing that I liked about UKVTW2 was that the American picks weren't just the 'superstars' from All Stars, they were beloved but not expected.

My sister is a huge fan of both lemon and Cheryl so she’s ecstatic lol I kind of get why Canada attracts less franchises than the uk might, given that uk has rupaul. Besides, going on a season where you have to speak a language other than your native tongue is hard, plus going against girls who do speak English as a first language… it takes a lot of courage and self confidence

The thing is…all of the cast is heavy hitters, and over half is on their third or fourth time competing. WHOEVER are the first few out are gonna have a very unfulfilled journey.
